Hotel Pellegrino

The breakfast was phenomenal, the staff go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and help us navigate the area. They provide transportation to explore the area which is incredibly helpful and help you to figure out what things you would like to do, help with bookings and reservations, it truly was the full package!

The beautiful property, thoughtful hospitality, and ideal location on the coast made this stay spectacular! Luigi, Alesia, Daniella, and everyone at the hotel make it an incredible experience, from their vast knowledge/expertise of the area to their attentiveness, they incredibly cover it all.

The rooms are so beautiful (we had 2 and both were tastefully designed and spotless). Local drop off makes it so convenient to visit nearby places. The breakfast is phenomenal along with the views.

I’m very particular with where I stay as an avid, discerning traveler and the fact that they made it to my list of hotels I’d stay in again means they’re spot on. Highly recommend!!

We had the most amazing time at Hotel Pellegrino - they took such good care of us and we felt like family when we left. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone else. The family is so friendly and helpful, the food and property amazing!

We stayed for two nights and would have loved to stay for a week. Despite arriving later than expected Luigi and his family could not have been more welcoming. I have seldom stayed anywhere where the owners are so attentive to their guests.
The location is idyllic and the rooms are beautiful. I would definitely recommend staying for dinner also, the locally prepared food was exceptional!!

Family owned and ran literally. They treat you with such kindness. Truly a five star treatment!

Owners took us in their car to several local dining spots and picked us with a simple text. Even dropped us in positano for the afternoon and arranged a water taxi (at our expense) to travel back to Priano port where they again transported us back to hotel
I can’t say enough and would stay no where else in future
The only drawback that some will feel is the road noise during the day but at night it’s quiet
With that said I don’t think it would deter me in the future stays. It’s that good of a small boutique 5 star feel.

Hotel Pellegrino is one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed at. There are many reasons to recommend this hotel but most importantly, this family cares for their guests in a very thorough manner. Of course, the facilities and the food and the breathtaking views are superb. Highly recommended.

We love everything about Hotel Pellegrino! You won’t find better, more attentive service anywhere! The family is on hand taking care of your every need—helping with itinerary ideas and bookings, giving rides, making the most delicious food in their on-site restaurant, etc! The rooms are newly and beautifully remodeled and have everything you need. This is our second stay and we hope to be back!

Room was large with beautiful balcony looking out to the sea. Wonderful breakfast. Staff was very helpful and always available to assist

Acomodação muito limpa e condortável, a vista do quarto era deslumbrante com uma varanda bem legal. A família é extremamente gentil, a Alessia nos ajudou em absolutamente tudo que precisamos. E o café da manhã é nível 5 estrelas, o melhor de todas as nossas estadias na Italia. Muito delicioso. Vale destacar que para trajetos mais curtos (Positano, Centro Praiano) conseguimos carona no hotel, foram muito pontuais. Para mais longos eles possuem tickets de onibus e taxistas parceiros a bons custos. Nota 1000

Hotel Pelligrino is the perfect place to base your amalfi coast trip. They have beautiful, clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast is just incredible; fresh and delicious and has everything you could imagine. They serve dinner most nights, so if you find yourself wanting a night at the hotel, it’s very elegant and delicious. Alessia is concierge and she can help you with everything from booking excursions to getting a water taxi to getting a restaurant reservation. She is amazing! Because they are in a less walkable area, they give you rides to and from Praiano center or Positano as needed, which was such a gift!
Don’t hesitate to book if you want a quiet hotel with superb customer service who treat you like family. Highly recommend! Thank you Luigi and family for your hospitality!

The Pellegrino is located in Praiano between Positano and Amalfi. You are in the calm area between those two crowded cities full of tourists. You can go around by taxi or by bus. The sea is nearby. Capri is easily reachable by boat from Praiano. The hotel itself is rum by the family and you feel at home from morning till evening.

If you want to feel like family, if you want incredible hospitality, if you want a”Disney” level of care, then book hotel Pelligrino. Rooms are great, lovely dining and a spectacular view, right in the heart of Amalfi coast Praiano. Can’t share enough platitudes Just a special memorable experience with a family that has your interest and experience first. I generally don’t write reviews, had to do this one

We arrived late afternoon and were greeted warmly with offers to help with luggage, parking, etc. The lady at reception could not have been nicer or more accommodating. A gentleman unloaded our car, took our car to park it in their on site garage and brought our bags to our room. The room was large and lovely. They offered to book a local restaurant for us and because of the hectic traffic in the area, suggested he drive us to the restaurant and collect us after dinner.
We elected to eat our first night in the hotel and were greatly impressed by the amazing dinner that was offered. Everything was fresh and so perfectly prepared. The chef was amazing. She readily made changes to suit our tastes. We loved every bit of our full course meal! We have visited more than 100 countries over our travel adventures and this hotel and restaurant were a genuine highlight.
We would highly recommend booking this property and staying at least 2-3 nights to fully enjoy the area and this wonderful property.

We had a wonderful stay! The family that runs it is incredibly kind, meticulous, and talented! The room was large, beautifully furnished, and immaculately clean. The breakfast was incredible, and the food we had in the restaurant for dinner was some of the best we had on our trip to Italy. There is a genuine devotion to humble excellence at this hotel, and we truly appreciated it. Also, the complimentary rides were great! The car was very comfortable, they were great drivers and the responsiveness and promptness to our our requests was incredible!

We stayed at Hotel Pellegrino for 7 nights in September and it was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip to the Amalfi Coast. As noted in so many previous reviews, it’s all thanks to Luigi and his family for making our stay so memorable and special. The beautiful and wholesome breakfasts fueled us for our busy days, sometimes so much so that we weren't hungry for lunch! Luigi dropped us off and picked us up countless times, which was appreciated more than we can say as this shuttle service greatly facilitated our sightseeing and experience,while also presenting an opportunity to get to know each other a bit. Of particular notable mention was the attention we received from Alessia and the impression she made on us. She was there for every question and offered impeccable, personalized recommendations. She was also just a Whatsapp message away if we ever needed assistance, directions, or advice while out and about (and that was often!). She works incredibly long hours to ensure her guests are well cared for. We always looked forward to chatting with her at the beginning and end of our days, swapping stories and sharing many laughs together. Staying at HP felt like being hosted by family or friends and we were sad to say goodbye. Many, many thanks for the memories; we miss you and will remember you always!
