Pros:

Very nice boutique hotel. I had no problem with check-in and staff was respectful. The room was very clean and the fridge came stocked with water and local beer. The cleaning staff was so kind and helpful. The hotel is located in an area that is walkable with many restaurants, convenience stores and a couple minutes walk to the beach.

I stayed for 2 weeks and the staff was very accommodating. The only negative was the elevator was out of service for three days and i did not look forward to climbing 4 flights of stairs every day.

El dia sabado 15 de febrero 2025 realicé una reserva a traves de la aplicacion Hoteles.com para el GIO Hotel Tama Cartagena, en la aplicación la reserva fue satisfactoria y se realizó el respectivo pago, al llegar al hotel en la recepción me confirman que no había disponibilidad de habitaciones a pesar que a través de la aplicación me fue permitido realizar la reserva y pagar por la misma.

Hotel localizado em uma região "residencial", tinha comércios ao redor como farmácias, mercados, restaurantes e shoppings. O café da manhã é escolhido através de um cardápio (opção americana, tradicional, europeia). Eles possuem um restaurante que serve almoço e também jantar. O uso da jacuzzi é de 1h por quarto e deve ser reservado na recepção com antecedência. Os quartos são confortáveis; banheiro limpo e com água quente. Um super destaque em especial para a zeladora Emile, super atenciosa, caprichosa, simpática. O hotel foi uma das únicas coisas boas da viagem! A cidade em si é suja; os passeios de Ilhas não é nada do que se vende; se você pedir qualquer informação na rua, é capaz da pessoa te cobrar propina. Cuidado com umas mulheres que ficam na praia de Boca Grande e param turistas para fazer massagem e tranças mesmo você falando que não quer. Elas te cercam, fazem você sentar e na maior cara de pau cobram COP 600.000. As pessoas locais não tem muito respeito com o turista, salvo algumas que são raras exceções!
