Sehr schönes Hotel, mit einem sehr guten Preisleistungsverhältniss.
Sehr gute Lage zum Hotelstrand und eine sehr gepflegte Hotelanlage.
Wir kommen gern wieder. 👍

Die Zimmer waren sauber und wurden jeden Tag gereinigt, allerdings war Schimmel in den Schränken vorhanden, sodass wir die Kleidung dort nicht aufbewahren konnten. Es wäre nicht notwendig und umweltschonender, wenn die Handtücher nicht jeden Tag gewechselt würden.
Die Hygiene im Speisebereich lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Die Platzdeckchen sind ekelhaft mit Flecken übersät und zum Reinigen der Tische wird immer wieder der gleiche Lappen verwendet. Die Gewürze am Tisch sind verklebt und auch sonst am Büffet ist alles sehr unhygienisch.
Die Lage des Hotels ist fantastisch, direkt am langen Strand. Viele gute Tavernen sind zu Fuß erreichbar.
Das Hotel ist fast komplett mit osteuropäischen Urlaubern besetzt, was aber nicht störend war.
Grundsätzlich ein sehr schönes Hotel, dass aber eine grundlegende Sanierung notwendig hätte und mehr Engagement vom Management nötig wäre.

Anlage sehr gut geführt ink. Direktor der immer anwesend und unterstützt hat. Tolle Bademöglichkeiten

Leider sind die Appartements zwar geräumig und gut aufgeteilt, aber schlechte Verarbeitung im Badezimmer ( zwischen den Fugen sehr grosse Ansammlung von Ameisen ( die trtotz Behandlung immer wieder auftauchten. )
die Toilettenanlage funktioniert nur mit Trick ( viel Papier ) sonst kein gutes Spühlen möglich. Konnte auch nicht behoben werden.
in den übrigen WC-Anlagen vermisse ich für Männer das Pissoir, da nirgends vorgesehen und entsprehend die Brillen der Anlage total bespritz waren. Das ist ein grossen Manko.

Ottima posizione, la migliore a Ierapetra! Struttura datata ma con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. L'accoglienza alla reception da migliorare (non capisco perché per il carico scarico bagagli per le camere più distanti non suggeriscano di avvicinarsi sulla strada laterale, alla partenza ci siamo arrivati da soli). Unica pecca veramente fuori dal tempo la mancabza di wi-fi nelle camere ed eccessivamente macchinoso l'accesso ad essa nell'area piscina (io non ricordavo le credenIali della mia mail e di fcbk quindi non mi sono mai potuta collegare.

Aucune possibilité d'activité : terrain de petanque sans boules, terrain de basket-ball , football, volleyball sans aucun ballon aucune animation proposée juste une soirée disco en 10 jours. La nourriture répétitive ; 3 fois queue de veau en 10 jours toujours les mêmes fruits avec des bananes vertes immangeables des fruits flettris coupés dans un bouillon d eau! .Desserts très peu variés , boissons du tout inclus de mauvaise qualité.
Après avoir séjourné dans divers hotels depuis 20 ansL'almyra est le plus décevant au niveau nourriture et animation (je ne suis pas du tout exigeante car travaillant dans la restauration.mais un minimum....)Dommage, cette structure a un potentiel non utilisé. .

Je n'comprends vraiment pas les avis négatifs des autres personnes.
A part le fait que l'hôtel soit à 2h30 de l'aéroport (c'est un choix quand on choisit Ierapetra) et que le transfert ne soit pas compris.
Le personnel, les animations, les lieux autour tout est top !
Ptit point négatif: la clim est trop forte dans le restaurant (je suis tombée malade au bout de 2/3 jrs).
La plage est à même pas 150m, la piscine est grande, magnifique vue sur la montagne, le restau en all inclusive est top, y a bcp de choix et on ne mange pas tout le tps la même chose (à moins de rester 3/4 semaines), de -23 à -50% dans la boutique de l'hôtel. Wifi gratuit pour les clients Expedia (le wifi n'est accessible qu'autour de l'accueil et la piscine, pas plus loin, mais c'est suffisant).
Le personnel est sympatique, transats gratuits à la piscine et à la plage. Boissons à volonté au beach bar et à la pool bar...
Franchement que demander de plus ?
Bus1: Heraklion-Ierapetra > entre 2h et 2h30 de route en car (paysages magnifiques tout du long):12€
Bus2: Ierapetra-Almyra Hotel > entre 7 et 10min : 1,80€

Nous avons effectué une réservation dans cet établissement pour 11 jours en août 2015, surtout pour l'animation pour notre notre fille de 10 ans
1- établissement loin d'héraklion (2h de route) coût du transfert de 150€ l'aller, nous avons dû louer une voiture pour le retour car nous devions être à l'aéroport à 4h du matin.
l'établissement n'a pas de navettes de transfert et vous propose uniquement des taxis ou les bus de ville
2- nous avions payé un supplément (270€) pour séjourner dans un bungalow avec vue jardin, nous avons été logé dans une chambre standard dans la partie ancienne de l’hôtel, pas de double vitrage, tv d'un autre âge mais pas lcd, meuble vétuste.
3- il est précisé que la wifi est gratuite, hors la wifi est payante (20€ = 20h pour seulement 1 appareil mobile) et en plus le débit est très aléatoire et mauvais, juste à la réception
4- aucune animation durant tout le séjour, nous avons dû nous regrouper entre Français pour que nos enfants puisse jouer
5- une clientèle majoritairement russe (80%), avec ses habitudes
6- formule all inclusive avec des restrictions mais ça reste juste du all inclusive, nourriture correct, pas de jus de fruits pressés gratuits (payant1€50), pas beaucoup de variétes
7- aucune activités nautiques sur la plage et à plus de 2kms

Das Almyra Hotel ist eine super schöne Anlage, welche sowohl direkten Strandzugang bietet, als auch einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge im Festland. Die Anlage, der Strand, der Pool und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Es gibt nichts negatives über den Aufenthalt zu berichten. Ich kann das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!

Overall nice holiday,disappointed there wasn't much to do there apart from sunbathe, swim or drink,there were pool tables in photographs but not when we arrived

Belle expérience, personnel agréable, hôtel spacieux et à proximité de la plage. Grande piscine et aménagement autour de la piscine satisfaisant.
Cependant, hôtel très loin de l’aéroport et aucun service de navette proposé. Seule possibilité prendre un taxi à presque 100 € le trajet... Pour un hôtel 4* et vu le prix des séjour c'est incompréhensible.
Qualité des repas correcte mais sans plus (buffet).
Par contre le gros point négatif est le fait de payer la dernière nuit, le petit déjeuner et déjeuner du lendemain, alors que votre vol est prévu la veille.
A noter également la nuisance sonore des cigales et la présence nombreuses des familles; séjour non idéal pour les amoureux...

The location was great, the staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was not good quality but eatable.

Food was always the same for 2 weeks
No rules to respect tennis players
No dressing code respected for lunch or dinner
No investments to refresh what must be
No free wi-fi or even a computer to do boarding
No animation for teenagers during 2 weeks
No serious cleaning of the room, many ants and mosquitos
No rescue at the beach and at swimming-pool

Hotellet ligger dejligt tæt på stranden men stranden men være obs på at det ikke er sandstrand men derimod små sten som ligger ned til vanden. Værelset vi fik var pænt skuffende. Det var ikke særlig pænt og vi måtte dele værelset med en masse myrer under vores ophold.

Das Hotel ist etwa 8 km von Irapetra entfernt.Es ist eine schöne kleine Anlage mit direktem Zugang zum Strand.

The hotel is run well and has all the facilities that a family would need ie kids club, swimming pools, tennis, beach, games room, car hire desk etc. The food is excellent which we enjoyed thoroughly. The only negative is there is no wifi in the rooms but only near the lobby. Also the rooms are basic and would be more welcoming if they were dressed up a bit by improving the furnishings. Having said that, they were perfectly adequate and very clean. Rooms were cleaned daily by the lovely cleaning lady and towels and sheets were changed daily too. The staff is very helpful, particularly the young lady running the exercise classes and the kids club, who was fantastic.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, so much that we preferred to stay in the resort than leave to sight see!! Relaxing, clean, beautiful tranquil views, lovely food which we enjoyed all inclusively! My husband would have preferred a more English breakfast but we were in crete lol!

We stayed for 2 weeks in August 2014 (2 adults, 2 children 9 & 6) - we arrive late at night & had a lovely welcome, plenty of food saved for us & bags taken to room. Room very disapointing! Expected what the website showed for a family room but got bunk beds & a small room - although it was cleaned very well every day with fresh towels (lots of ants). Hardly any English people in this hotel at all - also NO ENTERTAINMENT AT NIGHT - huge disappointment & would not have booked if known this! Kids disco very good but rest of entertainment non-existant! Activities through day were also badly organised and animation team poor for adults - but, kids mini club through day was very good. Beach is shingle/pepple but clean & beach bar good. Queue a lot at bat day and night - usually only 1 person serving. Plenty of sunbeds by pool & beach all day long - no need to reserve with towels which was great. Food very good but no snacks available through day - just leftovers from restaurant on end of bar. Hotel in middle of nowhere but 20 min bus ride to good sandy beach & nice resort. Long transfer from airport (1hr 30mins in a taxi). Very windy somedays. Overall good holiday but wouldn't have booked if known about no entertainment, long transfer and rubbish room!!

The hotel does not match the description on the website. extremely disappointing!

Lovely relaxing holiday. Great pool, not too busy even in August and lovely to have choice of private beach area with sun loungers. Staff very friendly and attentive. Grounds well maintained. Standard rooms basic but cleaned daily and adequate. Not within walking distance of local town or village so car/taxi required for change of scene or busier, typically Greek evening wandering round shops or choosing taverna for dinner. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage children. We were the only Brits staying at the hotel at the time which was fine for our week and we enjoyed spending time as a family but the children may have found 2 weeks too long without being able to easily communicate with other children their own age.

We stayed for 6 days and it was the best family holiday we have had in a long time. The staff were lovely and managed to arrange a birthday cake for my son's birthday. We went all inclusive and it was great not worrying about food. The kids especially had a great time in kids club. We intend to go back next year.highly recommended
