Unhealthy damp and mouldy rooms, with very concerning handling of guests’ passport data.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at this hotel and were relieved that we were only staying for a couple of nights.

The biggest issue was the condition of our room. There was black mould growing across the ceiling, and the room was so damp that all of our belongings started to feel damp after just a few nights. It was practically impossible to get towels to dry. The whole environment felt extremely unhealthy, and I would have been very concerned about staying there for any longer.

What made the experience even worse was what happened when we checked in. One of the reception employees took photos of our passports with her personal phone and sent them to herself via WhatsApp. It happened so quickly that I didn’t even have an opportunity to stop her. When I immediately asked what she was doing, she explained that their copier wasn’t working, so they were taking photos of guests’ passports until they could print them.

I was genuinely shocked and extremely uncomfortable with this. Passports contain highly sensitive personal information, and having images of ours taken and transferred via WhatsApp without asking for our permission was completely unacceptable. Regardless of whether the copier was working, there should be a secure procedure for handling guests’ identification documents.

Communication at reception was also difficult. None of the staff we encountered spoke English, which in itself wouldn’t necessarily be a problem when travelling in Colombia, but unfortunately there seemed to be very little willingness to try to communicate or help bridge the language barrier. Overall, we found the reception staff quite unfriendly and moody, which made an already uncomfortable stay worse.

The one positive was the staff at the restaurant. They were lovely, friendly and accommodating, and their attitude was a complete contrast to our experience with reception.

La ubicación es adecuada

No nos hicieron limpieza de la habitación en toda la estadía , ni cambio de toallas , así mismo dentro de la reserva eran 2 noches una de ellas no podíamos tomar el desayuno porque salimos muy temprano pedimos que pudieran darnos este el día que llegamos que fue 8am de la primera noche dijeron que no sin más

Una buena ubicación, me gustó mucho que había dispensador de agua,

Está poco deteriorado, y el desayuno falta más sabor y que estén pendiente de estar llenado lo que se va agotando en el bufet

Grande Cómodo pero el sector maluco

Las habitaciones son amplias y la limpieza está bien

Cons:

El Hotel es cerca de todo pero el sector es un poco maluco, da un poco de temor llegar de noche, edificios abandonados al rededor e indigentes.
El hotel es antiguo, las sillas muy viejas, al igual que los pisos y el ascensor, sin embargo las habitaciones han sido remodeladas junto con los baños, hace falta un poco más de remodelación
