Important information:

Please note that in winter, the property can only be reached by cable car from Lech. The cable car to Oberlech and the hotel operates nonstop from 07:00 to 01:00. When guests own a ski pass, no extra fee has to be paid for the cable car.

Oberlech is car-free in winter and public indoor parking is available against surcharge next to the cable car station in Lech. Your luggage will be transported from the cable car station to the hotel.

During summer guests can park the car in front of the hotel.

Please inform the hotel if you arrive after 21:00.

The annex is connected to the main building by an underground hall.

Super locatie met lekker ontbijt. Wel wat gedateerde kamers.
Pros:

Locatie en het heerlijke ontbijt

Cons:

De kamers zijn gedateerd, het zwembad te koud en de sauna ruimte te klein.

Pros:

Everything. Location. View. Staff. Cleanliness. Board Food. Readiness to assist and help. Requested iron and was immediately provided.

Cons:

Availability of nearby restaurants, although one could take the cable car down to small town and eat there.

Pros:

The position is fantastic. The staff was very nice and helpfull . Ski in ski out . But the slopes were bad! All the slopes in Lech were bad.

Cons:

The hotel is not a 5 stars. Or , maybe for the family with children . A lot of facilities for the children ! Rooms without a coffy machine . We need to walk 150 meters to the restaurant and 4 flors . We need to rest after that. The SPA is modest . The pool is small and with a lot of children. The restaurant, with the exception of staff , was modest!

Pros:

it is our second time visiting this hotel. we travel quite a lot and rarely repeat the same place! However, we surely will visit Sonnenburg again and again! it is the perfect getaway spot for a pampering long weekend or even longer stay during the ski season!

great except for the spa!
Cons:

the floor of the steam room (spa) is a disgrace in a way it is made of extremely slippery tiles in a room where the floor is always wet. Result a very painful fall banging my head on the tiles and passing out for a little while, saved by other guest!

Overrated hotel especially for the price
Pros:

The rooms definitely need renovations.
The hallway to reach the room takes a good 20 mn of walk!! On top of having skied all day and paying no less of 700€ a night.
The gondola is not even included to reach the town (only at check-in and check-out) which is an additional 22€ per couple per ride.
The bed is not comfortable at all and still using 2 single beds which is not adequate for a couple.
Room service stops at 9pm which does not make sense!
