We booked two Standard Double Rooms with Garden View (Rooms 201 and 301). Both were completely underwhelming, and comparing them to the official listing description makes it clear the advertisement was materially misleading.

The listing promised:

"Standard Double Room (Garden View). A spacious and comfortable double room with a private bathroom, peacefully located on the courtyard side, away from the noise of everyday traffic. The room also features a TV, a dining table that doubles as a workspace, and a spacious wardrobe for added comfort and convenience."

The reality:

No garden/courtyard view: There were no windows facing the courtyard at all, aside from a tiny, frosted window in Room 301.

Not spacious: Both rooms were cramped, with barely enough clearance to squeeze around the bed.

No dining table: Only a small desk with a single chair that could not reasonably function as dining space.

Missing wardrobe: Room 301 had no wardrobe whatsoever.

Impractical bathroom: The shower head was positioned directly over the sink in an extremely cramped bathroom.

This accommodation fell far short of what was advertised and sold to us. We have requested a refund and are happy to provide photos documenting the discrepancies.

Firstly, the room was not heated. The radiator did not work at all, even when turned up to maximum. As a result, the room was freezing cold at night, making it difficult to sleep. Furthermore, we were provided with two duvets of noticeably different warmth, one of which was extremely cold.

Secondly, the room I booked was advertised as being 15 square metres. However, our room certainly did not feel that spacious. In addition to the sloping ceiling, which reduces the usable space, the layout was so impractical that there was barely enough room for the double bed. The furnishings were not only unattractive but also inconvenient. For example, we could not even open the bathroom door fully. Overall, the room looked nothing like the pictures shown when I made the booking.

Regarding the bathroom, we were provided with only one towel for two guests, which had to be used for both handwashing and showering. Furthermore, the toilet flush button repeatedly fell off when touched, and the flushing mechanism itself only worked intermittently.

Lastly, the room was supposed to be located on the courtyard side of the hotel, “away from the noise of everyday traffic”. However, our window faced the street, allowing traffic noise to enter the room and making it even more difficult to sleep.

Låsesystrmet virkede ikke men der kom hurtigt en dame. Lidt svært at forklare italienerne når de ikke kunne engelsk men vi fik dem ind i korrekt værelse via tegnsprog og Google translate.
Manglede en elkedel til en kop kaffe men nok ikke nemt at have stående når vi selv skal tjekke ind og ud. Ok valuta for pengene.

We arrived at 14:00 but only got into our room around 16:00. We were told the room was still being prepared, and the reception has hardly anywhere to sit, so we mostly stood for two hours. Other guests were told it was a system error or had to find the cleaner themselves. When we found her, she said our room had been ready for a long time, and nobody had contacted us. The room had a musty smell, stained pillow and bedding, and a bathroom that wasnt working with a door that wouldn't close properly. There was also loud street noise all night. 170 euros a night for a stay like this is..

Toilettet løb og larmede konstant. Panelet hvor man trykkede for at trække i toilettet var faldet af. Der var meget koldt. Rullegardin til vinduet ved sengen kunne jeg ikke trække ned. Jeg savnede en topmadras på sengen.
