Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Kranjska Gora

I'm visiting Hotel Prisank for more than decade, since 2010, and every time I'm surprised with better experience. This year everything was so smooth, since arrival, fast check in, garrage for car and hospitality of all staffs, started from reception, restoran and other facilities. I'm especially happy to notice that hotel is full of fammiles with kids, which is rare occasion in today's world. I will continue to come as fas as I can, and try to transmit this flame to my kids and their fammilies in recent future.

Service 3 ( receptionist was very kind, but breakfast was not on the level for 4 star hotel and water in the pool was too hold what was bad suprise since we chose that hotel because of the pool. Generaly, my experience is that Slovenian are not so kind)

The pros: good location. Staff are generally helpful, if not overly friendly. The hotel is clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet is quite good, and the buffet dinner if you have it is not bad value at €22 for all you can eat and it’s not bad quality. The beds are comfortable.
The cons: room is very spartan, didn’t even have a kettle, which we had to request from the reception, fortunately they had one left. No air conditioning, quite stifling in the room, glad it wasn’t too hot when we were there, otherwise it would be unbearable. We were in a room facing the front of the hotel and every morning a very loud church bell would go off at 7am for a few minutes. No sleeping through it. Great alarm if you want to be woken at 7, but terrible if you want any sort of lie in. Our shower holder was broken and two mornings there was no hot water! For a 4 star hotel this is all really poor. The swimming pool complex is large with jacuzzi (you have to pay extra for the sauna), and it’s a horseshoe shape, almost like a small water park, which is great for kids and families splashing about, but no good if you actually want to do any proper swimming. If it had been an £80 a night 3 star hotel we would have been quite happy with it, but for the money we paid and it supposedly being 4 star, we weren’t impressed and overall would not recommend it. On a side note, the tourist tax is more than hotels.com quote. It’s €7 per night.

next to no Wi-Fi signal, no air conditioning, stained carpets, cracked armchairs in foyer, breakfast diluted powder "fruit nectar" juices, restaurant serves a wide variety but of mostly stews or soupy food, sometimes obviously leftovers, noisy bathroom fan, bathroom stank of sewer, water boiler but no coffee or tea in the room, high restaurant drinks prices - much more than the vending machine next to the restaurant door

Very nice hotel in the centre of Kranjska Gora. Buffet dinner was excellent with choices of very tender meats and usually pasta too. Delicious cakes (as everywhere in Slovenia) . The room was good with very soft pillows and a nice shower. No aircon but the staff lent a fan which was fine. Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. KG is a beautiful area with well marked trails for hiking and absolutely litter free. There is an hourly bus service to Ratece, and it is easy to walk to Italy from there and even to the meeting of three countries ( Italy , Austria and Slovenia ) at the top of Mount Tromeja, although this is more challenging. Also worth visiting the delightful Jasna lake- an easy stroll away.

Rooms comfortable and clean, but no air conditioning which made it quite uncomfortable until I was given a fan, which helped some. There was a fridge and tv, and balcony. We were overlooking church which chimed very regularly which was a bit disturbing. Towels and sheets changed regularly.
We were half board, the food was ok, some days better than others. Always well cooked, the restaurant staff were very helpful and looked after us well. You must always ask if you need or want something. Disappointed not to have complimentary water with evening meal.

Centralt hotell med väldigt serviceinriktad personal.

It's our third year here, and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is 10 10-minute walk from the ski resort and offers a locker for skies and skiing boots in the warm room in the garage. The staff is always friendly and ready to help.
The buffet breakfast and dinner offer a great variety of food. In the morning, you also have drinks included in the price.
The rooms are clean and warm. The cleaning lady comes each morning to vacuum, clean, and change the towels if needed.
Although there were a lot of families with kids in the period we stayed, it was peaceful, and you could rest well at night.

We had a great week in this beautiful and super clean hotel with delicious breakfast and dinner. The view was spectacular and friendly staff. It is surrounded by trees and mountains. Shops, restaurants and bars nearby. We will surely return!

Hotel Review: Disappointing Experience, Not Up to 4-Star Standards

I recently stayed at this hotel, expecting a 4-star experience as advertised, but unfortunately, it fell far short of that expectation. The location is indeed great, but the building is very run down, which was evident from the moment I arrived.

One of the biggest issues was the lack of air conditioning in the room, which made my stay during a hot summer week almost unbearable. With temperatures reaching 90 degrees, the room was stifling and uncomfortable. The front desk did offer me a fan, but it did little to alleviate the humidity and heat in the room, making it a very unpleasant experience.

Additionally, the room lacked basic amenities you would expect from a 4-star hotel. There was no coffee, no bathroom amenities, and overall, the room felt outdated and poorly maintained. The towels were old and worn out, further contributing to the impression that this hotel is not being kept up to standard.

The most frustrating part of my stay was the issue with the tourist tax. When I booked through Orbitz, I was informed that the tourist tax would be $16, payable at the hotel. However, upon checkout, the hotel charged me 21 euros instead. Despite showing my receipt, the staff refused to rectify the charge, which left a very sour taste in my mouth.

Breakfast was just okay, but it certainly didn’t make up for the outdated facilities and the overall poor condition of the hotel. It seemed to cater more to local gues

Gorgeous surroundings, super walkable so long as you can get to the town, helpful staff, GREAT breakfast buffet with stay, clean hotel but quite dated. Would stay at again!

Dated hotel, looks like something from the 70s, certainly not 4* but more 3*
Not enough plugs, no aircondition, dinner served at sister hotel down the road. Staff do their best and breakfast is quite good. The plus point is its central location a stones throw from the pedestrian area and there is a supermarket just across the road.

Dejligt hotel med god service og fin morgenmad adgang til pool på nærliggende hotel men uden ac og så er der varmt på værelset 26 gr om natten mere om dagen

Ww had a great stay at the Ramada, it looks a bit shabby from the outside but we had a great room , really clean, lovely comfy beds , great balcony , even though the hotel was full it was really quite, breakfast menu was extensive and available if you were late, only downside was the bar and restaurant inthe hotel were closed so we had to eat at the other Ramada restaurant down the street, but the food was excellant with many choices

Middenklasse hotel in het centrum van kranjska gora. Plaatsje zelf gezellig druk in het voorseizoen (zomer). Hotel is prima, niks bijzonders. Ontbijt redelijk ruim qua keuze.

Die Zimmer waren groß und geräumig die Betten waren sehr gut. Die Lage im Zentrum ist gut mit Restaurants und Geschäften. Der Service zuvor kommend und das Frühstück sehr gut.

Great balcony views of mountains and town. Ideally located and convenient to walk to shops and restaurants. Rooms are clean and come with a microwave, sofa and writing table. Breakfast buffet is extensive with lots of options. Sufficient for a short stay.

Firstly I'd prefer to put a 3.5 rating on our stay - but obviously can't.
Be careful when booking a Ramada in Kranjska gora as there is also the Ramada resort just up the road (looks a bit more posh).
First impressions were alot of families with alot of children all around the hotel and reception. Very busy and loud.
Also be very careful with the room you book. Our first room was on the 2nd floor (280) in an area where the large open stairwell and lifts were situated. There was also a family-type open area here with comfy chairs (there is an area like this on all 3 floors) where people congregate, talk, play etc. Well, by 10.30pm I had to complain about the noise of the teenagers playing football, yelling and shouting in this area, effectively right outside our bedroom door! It wasn't a good introduction to the hotel after a day's travel. It eventually settled.
The reception staff (I forget his name sorry) totally understood our complaint and the next day we were moved to the top floor in a much quieter and nicer room/suite (377).
Aside from this, the breakfast and dinner are plentiful, varied and tasty and the staff are all very friendly, helpful and efficient. We didn't use the bar area.
The hotel whilst we were there appeared mostly to be geared-up for families and school groups but this didn't stop us enjoying our stay.
Kranjska gora is a beautiful town and the locals are all very friendly.
