Disappointing
Pros:

Breakfast was just tolerable. Nothing to rave over.

Cons:

The property is not maintained well. For instance, on the day we checked in the washbasin tap in our room was so tight and practically unusable. It was repaired the next day after our complaint.
We found that the walls of the restaurant were dirty at many places

Luxury hotel
Pros:

This hotel is like a European luxury hotel. It is very well run, very clean. Room had a lovely view. Pool is very big

Cons:

They have a system which I wasn't told about where the room key only works for your floor and the floor for the pool. I tried to see a friend on another floor and couldn't understand what was wrong.

Enjoyable complete stay
Pros:

Location, Spacious Executive room, swimming pool and breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet is great, served to the table and staff is excellent.

Cons:

The bath shower area some times stink because of sewage issue, the staff fixed the issue after complaining, but still it was not completely fixed, had mild stink smell at times. Standard room needs upgrade, old, not up to standards.

Stay at Taj Vivanta Coimbatore
Pros:

We had a fabulous stay at Vivanta Coimbatore during our recent trip. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and offered a great city view. The hotel’s location is convenient, being close to the city center.

The staff were extremely courteous and accommodating. They kindly arranged an early check-in for us and even organized a birthday cake for my daughter at short notice, which made our celebration truly special and memorable.

The dinner buffet was decent, though it could have offered a better variety. However, the breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of delicious options. The staff in the dining area were very attentive and ensured guests were well taken care of.

The reception and lobby areas were well maintained, and the garden area was particularly impressive. A few areas for improvement would be updating the old shower accessories in the bathrooms and renovating the ground-floor common restrooms.

Overall, we had a very good experience and would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Coimbatore.
