Absolutely beautiful hotel with great views of Crete, both at the property and traveling to and from the property.

The entire staff were friendly, welcoming and extremely professional. The property was unique… the room was spacious and the amenities were endless. We loved the high end blue tooth speaker system in our room as well as the robes and slippers. Dimitrios and Kostas were very helpful and Elizabeth gave us terrific deep tissue messages. Stella took great care of our room. The restaurant onsite was excellent and we were well attended to by the staff. We are grateful! We will return for sure!!

I had a stunning stay at Happy Cretan Suites during late September 2025. The staff, the facilities, the views, ambience and the food were all amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook this hotel and I have recommended it to all of my friends.

On the first morning I opted for the complimentary yoga in the spa area which was incredible, the teacher was very knowledgable and I felt relaxed and energised following it.

Lana who cleaned my room did a wonderful job, left me cute notes and complementary snacks most days. She was great, even when I was in her way because I returned to my room mid clean!

The ladies doing the breakfast service were amazing too, I cannot remember their names but they were so kind and welcoming. Food was very very good

Recommendations: a complimentary fresh 1L bottle of water should be provided for each room every day. I found it quite frustrating that there wasn’t free drinkable water available in the room when I arrived unless I bought some (I was parched after travelling the entire day). There was some overly priced water in the mini bar that you could purchase but most luxury hotels I stay in give you free water every day so I thought this was unusual. If a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine could be provided, a free bottle of water should be too.

Pools were freezing cold, even after a hot day. Recommend to heat them

Please put the yoga class on more than once a week, it was amazing so I’d have loved to have gone again.

The beds were a bit hard and uncomfortable. The shower drain was very slow and you had to walk through your own self to get out . I asked to have it resolved and nothing ever happened. You shouldn't have to ask twice in the bag to have something fixed. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was quite Pleasant

The grounds were beautiful and very well kept. The staff were extremely friendly and made time to speak with us everyday. Would recommend staying here to anyone

I'm travelling a lot for work and experience many what many would call exclusive hotels. As someone that wanted a nice environnement with privacy this was perfect .

The service was absolutely incredible here! From the moment we arrived, upon check-in we were offered cool and refreshing water with lemon slices. We were then given a tour of the compound and taken to our private suite where complimentary champagne and greek treats were waiting. The pool and view were stunning, the food in the restaurant is some of the best quality we had in Crete - *tip get the tzatziki and ask for the chef's sweet treat of the day - the room was cleaned every day to an impeccable standard - and my standards are sky high as I'm slightly OCD. The cleanliness and reaponsiveness of the staff is some of the best I've ever encountered. The breakfast was bountiful and as well as your usual continental style breakfast you can order hot food options at the bar. The pool for the private suite is shockingly cool in the day time which is lovely if you've been out in the sun all day but it warms up upon sunset. Parking is fantastic, we rented a car and never failed to find a spot no matter what time we returned to the hotel after spending time out. Happy Cretan Suites was truly a 10/10 experience and we would definitely return! Thank you so much to all the stuff who made our stay so fantastic.

I’ve been to Greece many times before, but this hotel made this trip my favorite. Hotel is set in a beautiful surrounding overlooking the ocean, the two pool areas were amazing, with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. Room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. Food, especially breakfast buffet, was delicious plentiful. All staff were kind and attentive the moment I walked in the door. The manager Dimitris even came to my room to deliver a very thoughtful parting gift the night before my departure. Would not hesitate to stay here again, 100% recommend, no complaints.

We spent 10 nights at Happy Cretan Suites in one of their stunning cave suites with a private pool, and it was a truly memorable experience. The suite was beautifully designed, offering a unique blend of luxury and natural charm, perfect for unwinding and soaking in the peaceful surroundings.

The staff were absolutely lovely—warm, attentive, and always ready to help. They went out of their way to accommodate our vegan diet, and the food was consistently good, with thoughtful options that made dining a pleasure.

The wellness offerings were a nice touch, though we would have appreciated more frequent yoga sessions and a broader selection of spa treatments. That said, the Saturday yoga class was excellent and left us feeling refreshed and centered.

The property is walkable to town, but only during daylight hours due to the terrain, so we opted for taxis in the evenings. It's important to note that the location and layout are best suited for guests without mobility issues.

Overall, Happy Cretan Suites is a wonderful choice for a relaxing getaway, especially if you're looking for a peaceful atmosphere, kind hospitality, and a touch of luxury.

Stunning property. Stayed here with my teenage kids. Peaceful, gorgeous and lively! Loved it.

The rooms were immaculate, cleaned every day throughout the trip as well as all eating areas and the gym etc - everything was spotless!
