Pros:

Fantastisk frukost i vacker miljö. Trevlig personal över lag. Det regnade dock in i restaurangen och i hissarna. Hotellrummen hade undermåliga förvaringsmöjligheter och belysning. Vi hade bokat 3 st deluxe-rum (en hel vecka för en halv förmögenhet) med garden view men två av rummen hade utsikt mot en parkeringsplats. Kylskåpet gick inte att reglera så all dryck inkl burkar frös till is. Personalen trevlig men ett 5-stjärnigt hotell är det definitivt inte.

Pros:

Great room overlooking the beach, breakfast was very good, pool area was nice, Sparkling Spa was great. We arrived very late and went to the sister property where we waited half an hour only to learn we were at the wrong place - so be cautious as they have three adjacent properties. Loved the kid-free existence.

We stayed here for only a few nights on our honeymoon and we were very happy with how clean and friendly the staff was! We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to everyone!

Just coming to the end of a wonderful stay at Porto platanias luxury , everything about our stay from start ( unexpected upgrade ) to finish was lovely . Special thank you to Penelopi on reception who went above and beyond even arranging doctors appointment for my so. . Will definitely be back

Pros:

Friendly and very helpful staff.
Our sons shared a room in which the air conditioning was ineffective and it was very b hot. Altho we mentioned it to the staff, nothing was done to rectify the situation.

Pros:

Be advised, Expedia customers. As of 8/10/25, Expedias site incorrectly omitted the fact that this resort is adults only. Other travel sites and the hotel itself are more clears
The Porto hotel conglomerate has a family friendly place where we got stuck last minute but it’s not on the beach.
It’s a very busy strip and not very relaxing outside of the properties.

Pros:

The place was great. The people at the front desk, bell staff and housekeeping were the best and most helpful. Our stay was near the end of the season so the restaurant was understaffed and a little slow. On the other hand there are so many great places to eat within short walking distance it didn't really matter. Highly recommended. Next time I will split time between here and old Chania.

Pros:

Stayed here for 6 nights with two friends. Had a room with two single beds and a sofa bed in a separate living room. Large balcony, nice and spacious bathroom, and good comfort and standard throughout the hotel. Nice facilities: great child-free beach, pool area, good breakfast, gym, and more. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend staying here.

Very Enjoyable Vacation Spot
Pros:

I was impressed with the condition and cleanliness of the facility. The staff was friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. We purchased the breakfast and dinner package and was very happy with the choices, quality and quantity of the food every day. I highly recommend the Porto Platanias Beach Hotel!
