THis hotel is absolutely amazing. The rooms were cody, the bathroom new and everything worked so well. The stuff was so friendly and warm hearted. It felt like being with friends. It is an amazing place, which will celebrate its 400 years‘ birthday in 2027. We will definitionen back. Thanks for this lovely time. In the evening we also enjoyed the pub next door, which served wonderful food es well. It was a perfect stay.
Great little hotel in the heart of the New forest, lovely accommodation with lots of character. Very charming room and a great breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay again

Close to pubs selling evening meals.
TV did not work, continually "No Signal" incredibly steep staircase going up to our room, not suitable for anyone who finds climbing stairs difficult.

Beautiful location and surroundings and a very quaint cottage. The breakfast was delicious and served in a very pretty garden.
One slight issue with the bed which wasn’t discovered until late at night, but we were well compensated for this oversight.

Bed frame had claw feet which stuck out. Close confines meant potentially stubbing a toe or worse such as tripping over.
Really beautiful cottage rooms are well presented and very clean. Breakfast is outstanding of which staff can’t do enough for you.

Location great. Breakfasts satisfactory. Staff friendly. Good parking.
Room very small. Smelly bathroom, probably because the extract fan didn't work. Cups weren't washed on any day. No tissues in bedroom or bathroom. No waste bin in bathroom, what are women supposed to do with used sanitary ware? Light faulty in shower. Overall it is a 2 star hotel on a scale of 5.
