Pros:

Hotel is cosy and quiet. Breakfast is moderate.
The room has a kettle and free tea and coffee.
The full wall window gives a full view of the neighbourhood. Souvenir shop in the hotel and mini market right next door to buy water.
Restaurants are across the street and downtown is a 10 minute walk.

Not a 4*
Pros:

4 * , no way, they don’t know how to clean a room, breakfast mediocre but on weekends terrible.
You need a towel you need to call 4 times and then go yourself to reception

Pros:

Hotel in a good location with easily accessible taxi services, however suffers from poor winter season heating both in room and lobby.
Hotel interior looks old with some stains on walls specially around stair cases which need to be treated. Room toiletries are below average.

Not 4 stars!
Pros:

Some hotel age gracefully. This one not. 4 stars? No way. Not clean. Sloppy staff at restaurant. Air Con temperature cannot be controlled.

Pros:

The hotel seemed tired and worn. The bed was comfortable. The staff was outstanding very helpful and attentive. The front desk intervened with the situation we had concerning an airline. The doorman hopped in our car and drove directly to a gas station because our car was on fumes.

Poor cleanliness and poorly maintained, noisy.
Pros:

This hotel has poor cleanliness. Everything you look at or need to touch is dirty. It looks great in the photos on the website, however, it has not been maintained or cleaned properly for many many years. It is next to a busy roundabout with taxi's and other vehicles using their horns all night long. The gym was locked and there is no pool as was advertised. Breakfast was of a cheap standard. My wardrobe collapsed as soon as I touched it ! I discussed the issues with the Manager and he said they plan to repair soon!
I will not be staying there again, poor value for money and extremely poor hygiene.

Perfect for families! Service minded staff
Pros:

Nice large room with large bed, desk and living room. We have stayed there twice. The condition of the rooms was a little different, but both fine.

Pros:

Room decor in need of refresh. Frayed electrical cables on lamps and plugs. Great view of Amman from room obscured by dirty windows. Strangely, barcode stickers still on bathroom fittings.

Great affordable wheelchair accessible room
Pros:

Located in a really nice part of amman, this hotel had absolutely everything we needed. I am in a wheelchair and this place offered a really affordable wheelchair accessible room. An added bonus was that it hadn’t a great panoramically view of the city, from which we watched some breathtaking sunrises.

The only issue I would mention is that the bathroom door was jammed shut and one of my friend’s got locked got locked in for a few hours. However, they fixed it up by breaking down the door.

One other thing to to mention for wheelchair users isn’t that the restaurant isn’t accessible but I simply cannot called up room service and they delheded our complimentary breakfast to our room freebie of charge.

Some great local spots include Joodee shawarma, famous shawarma place on 2nd circle, Crispy Chicken, and Corner Pub (offers great happy hour from 4-8pm).

Amazing Location but hotel disappoints
Pros:

Belle Vue Hotel is in an amazing position, close to many restaurants, clubs & shops, not to far from markets etc and the vibe in the street outside was wonderful. Linen was clean & beds semi comfortable, reception staff reasonably helpful but housekeeping & maintenance staff no so much. Unfortunately that's where the positive ends. The room we stayed in was the Prince Suite (family room, 1 king & 2 twins) but the room was sadly lacking maintenance. The toilet was not flushing, the sink was broken, the carpets were lifting, overcrowded furniture in disrepair. Air conditioner also was not working properly, although set on around 20C couldn't get the room cooler than maybe 26-28C so sleep was very unsettled. Pillows were well past their use by date needing several to make 1 that was barely acceptable to sleep on.

The water bottles had been consumed and empty bottles left, but hotel staff did send up some replacements once notified, but housekeeping didn't notice same, also took 3 attempts to get towels.

Compared to other hotels I've stayed in Belle Vue is more like a run down 3 star hotel. Ok for those on a budget but could do better.

Amman in December
Pros:

The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel was safe and warm and the hot water systems worked very well. Room service was good and punctual.
Only concern was the variable internet service.

Ideal for business people who have work to do at the hotel or near the centre of Amman.

Satisfied
Pros:

The staff are friendly and helpful. For instance, I asked them to help hail a cab to Adbali, thinking at there I could get a bus to Madaba. The hotel staff asked the hotel security guard. The latter called a friend who lived in Madaba and confirmed I could get onto a Madaba bus at 7th circle instead of all the way to Adbali. They helped hail a taxi and got me to the station. The station had no sign at all so without the help of the hotel staff I wouldn't have got to there. The trip to Madaba was successful. I was absent minded enough to leave my passport at the reception. They gave me when I collected my luggage back and you can tell they worried about me going airport without my passport. The facilities were not too good though. There was only one electricity socket I could use, which was shared with the electric kettle.
