Beautiful building and grounds, good location and plenty of on site parking. Received a professional friendly welcome with a speedy check in and kindly escorted to my room. It was very hot weather and the air con was very handy. Comfy room good amenities. Evening meals and breakfast excellent with a good selection, well presented and good service. Highly recommend Le Pommier and will book again. Thank you.
A great hotel - we had dinner in the restaurant and it was scrummy-licious - so good it was very hard to leave anything. Breakfast was also excellent - plenty to chose from - the hot food was cooked fresh so again, scrummy-licious - the local Guernsey butter was a delight. There were a couple of grumbles - no safe in the room, but as crime is virtually non-existent on the island, this wasn't a problem. Our blinds didn't work properly. One BIG positive is that if you don't have your room cleaned or towels changed, you get a free drink each, per day - yay!! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will return in the future... The hotel is a 15mins walk from Cobo Bay...
The room was immaculate, spacious and with very comfortable beds. The restaurant in the Hotel was of high standard with very attentive service. There vases of flowers all over the Hotel which seemed to be changed every other day. Big plus, it was on a bus route.
It was a lovely relaxing atmosphere throughout our short stay.
Fantastic hotel rooms were brilliant one I will always look for when I visit guernsey again
Had a lovely stay here. Rooms were roomy, food was foody, and the staff were excellent! We'll be back.
Lovely staycation. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. We hope to come back soon.
Hopefully you could improve wifi service of the hotel
I would highly recommend Le Pommier Hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, modern and clean facility, excellent food prepared to a high standard, and above all, the staff carry out their respective duties in a very professional manner.
It was excellent!
Booked a last minute stay which was very good value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to book again at similar rates. Couldn't fault it. Had a comfortable stay, bed, towels, linens, in room refreshments etc all good. Staff very attentive. Quiet spot. We had a hire car (plenty of parking) but there's a bus stop close by for getting around the Island.
Amazing place to stay very pretty clean , food amazing and manager staff absolutely brilliant and polite . Will definitely be going back next year
This is a lovely historic property which has been beautifully maintained for a very comfortable stay, with friendly staff and a gorgeous pool and BBQ and bar area and gardens. A 10 min walk to Grandes Rocques beach for the sunset and in the other direction to Sausmarez Park.
Fantastic breakfast too. A great choice for good Guernsey hospitality.
A nice long weekend stay at Le Pommier this May bank holiday.
Staff very nice and friendly.
Staff very nice and friendly.
The staff were amazing, clean room and good breakfast.
The decor of the hotel is a bit blandly "current", like they've just gone to Homesense and bought everything there, but our room was comfortable and the shower was good. There was a sign in the bathroom saying that you couldn't drink the tap water, but it didn't clarify whether this meant that you needed to call reception every time you wanted to fill the kettle, or if it only referred to drinking unboiled water. Speaking of the kettle, it didn't work unless you held the lever down, which got very hot. Amusingly, when we were shown to our room, the man helpfully carrying my very empty and small day sack, hung around as if he was expecting a tip! ha. We're not in the States mate, I carried the 20 kilo bag :D
Breakfast was good, with a cooked to order breakfast alongside all the usuals on the buffet. The staff at breakfast were great and v attentive. We also ate at the hotel in the evening, and I would recommend going elsewhere as the food was mediocre overall (although the salmon dish was great!) and the staff not particularly switched on.
Wasn’t the best
Bed quite small and room wasn’t overly clean
Lovely outside area for chilling.
Indoor decor beautiful .
