Had a lovely time- walkable to port, shops, restaurants. Bus to main town & beaches.
Pros:

Quite basic but that was reflected in the price. Very clean, good pool & outside space. The husband and wife team are lovely, friendly and helpful.

Pros:

Our room and the pool was lovely. Very close to the port with cafes and restaurants and a shop right next door. About a 15 minute walk up many stairs to get to the main bit of town, otherwise you can get a bus from just down the road (only takes cash) or a taxi service was very easy to get too, coming back from town it was easy to come down the steps.

Mare Monte review
Pros:

The staff was extremely welcoming and kind, even saying hi to us when they us around Ios and offering help with bandaids and such. Rooms were serviced everyday and were very clean upon arrival and when we returned home everyday. The pool was clean and relaxing and the position is optimal to reach the port and the local bus stop.

Cons:

Nothing, it was perfect!
