Not the most comfortable place, but well worth its money. The room, and especially bathroom, was very small. However, certainly clean and well organized. Breakfast was good. Location is good too.
Staff sometimes seemed completely flabbergasted about the most simple questions.
A terrific place to arrive after two long nights on a bus. The staff are helpful and welcoming. They communicated brilliantly before we arrived which was reassuring. Le Foyer is in a terrific spot in Arequipa an excellent base.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Arequipa. The property is beautiful, with a charming courtyard, a lovely terrace, and a café/bar area where breakfast is served and where guests can relax throughout the day. The entire hotel was very clean and well maintained.
One of the features we appreciated most was the comfortable lounge area available for travelers arriving before check-in time. Having access to seating, restrooms, and even showers before getting our room was extremely convenient and thoughtful, especially after a long journey.
The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We also appreciated the breakfast box they prepared for guests with very early departures, which was a nice touch and showed their commitment to guest comfort.
We did have a small issue with our room, as it was not exactly as shown in the photos. However, the staff handled the situation professionally and immediately offered to move us to another room the following day. In the end, we decided to keep our original room, but we greatly appreciated their willingness to find a solution and ensure we were satisfied.
Overall, this is a beautiful hotel with great facilities, thoughtful services, and attentive staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Arequipa.

The nightclub next door kept us up most of the night. The bed was on the second floor. There was no where to sit except at the desk and there was only one chair. It was too cold to sit on the balcony in the evening. The restaurant was outdoors and it was too cold to eat dinner and breakfast there. The stairway up to the reception was steep and it was difficult to carry luggage. No wonder the price was inexpensive. Photos can be deceiving! ( Winter June )

Arrivé un samedi en fin d'après-midi, au moment de la récupération des clefs le réceptionniste nous donne des bouchons d'oreilles en même temps.
Sur le coup je n'ai pas compris.
Dd la musique toute la nuit bien fort car beaucoup d'établissement de danse à proximité, puis sorties des fêtards et enfin les véhicules de poubelles. Et ceci jusqu'à 6h45.
Un peu moins fort le dimanche.
C'est à prendre en compte suivant vos activités et vos visites à Aréquipa.
Mais je me souviendrai lomgtemps des bouchons d'oreilles.

Minha experiência com este hotel foi extremamente decepcionante, não apenas pela hospedagem simples (muitas escadas, café da manhã fraco e ruídos externos), mas principalmente pela forma como tratam os clientes quando surge um problema.
Cometi um erro ao fazer uma reserva, cancelei-a em poucos minutos e fiz imediatamente uma nova reserva com os dados corretos. Mesmo assim, fui informada de que o reembolso da primeira reserva cancelada poderia levar até 30 dias úteis (até 60 dias corridos), o que me obrigaria a arcar com duas cobranças ao mesmo tempo por um período prolongado, inclusive por uma reserva que jamais utilizaria.
Utilizei um mecanismo legítimo de proteção do meu cartão de crédito para me defender dessa situação e, em vez de qualquer compreensão, recebi mensagens me responsabilizando pelos custos do chargeback e pedindo que eu os reembolsasse. Em nenhum momento houve empatia, pedido de desculpas ou reconhecimento do impacto financeiro para mim.
Além disso, fui hóspede do hotel, comprei passeios com eles e ainda deixei uma diária já paga sem utilizar por mudança de planos. Mesmo assim, senti-me tratada como alguém que havia feito algo errado por simplesmente tentar me proteger de uma política de reembolso que considerei excessivamente onerosa.
Saí com a impressão de que este hotel é extremamente inflexível em questões financeiras, pouco preocupado com a experiência do cliente e mais interessado em defender suas próprias políticas do que em compreender situações razoáveis e tratar os hóspedes com respeito.

Ho cambiato data e quindi (avendo pagato subito) ho atteso il rimborso per PIÙ DI UN MESE. Un rimborso che sarebbe dovuto essere automatico (come è il pagamento). Tra l'altro, forse per colpa del cambio, mi è stato rimborsato anche di meno. Consiglio quindi di prenotare solo se siete sicuri al 100%.

In de weekenden is het ontzettend luidruchtig, oordopjes helpen hier niet bij.
Personnel très accueillant, le service de bagagerie est gratuit et semble sécurisé. Nous avons laissé une partie de nos affaires à l'hôtel gratuitement pendant notre excursion au canyon de colca.
Logement confortable et très bien situé.
Nous étions au rez-de-chaussée, logement légèrement bruyant mais situé en plein centre.
