A quirky hotel
The breakfast was well present and sufficient. The staff were polite and friendly. View from the room was good
The pricing of the room was misrepresented. The price shown on booking.com as the original pricing was extremely exaggerated. We booked the room based on the great deal we felt we were bringing offered. This obviously fueled our expectations for a “hidden gem” boutique hotel. Either this was an oversight by booking.com or it is a lesson for us that booking.com does not validate or monitor rates.
The hotel is in dire need of renovation or possibly a re-build.
1. Parts of the exterior facade are covered in black mold on the pool-side and other parts are shedding into the ground below or into the actual pool.
2. Parts of the wood on the interior of the entranceway have fallen off.
3. The indoor spa is not usable. Once gets are turned on, dead insects and dirt are blown into the water.
4. The balcony is filled with painted spills and bird feces.
5. Lighting is poor.
6. Water does not heat heat up properly or to an acceptable warmth.
7. The mattress on the bed is very old, worn and in need of replacement.
8. Sheets on bed are torn and in need of replacement
9. There were decorative glass panes on the balcony. Many had fallen over time and the structure holding the panes was warped and appeared it would collapse soon.
The rooms are not properly cleaned.
1. There are stains on the walls.
2. On the wood panel walls there appear to be a large number of hand / finger prints.
3. Odd stains on ceiling.
4. For the five nights we stayed, the linens were not changed and there was no signs/messages indicating this would be the case or that special request was required.
5. Quote a number of purging have made home on the balconies above the pool, resulting in significant bird droppings into the pool.
6. There are plants growing from cracks in the exterior wall over the pool.
Staffing
1. While the staff were friendly, it seemed the hotel was understaffed. In several occasions the front desk and reception area were unattended. We
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Chiang Mai. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The hotel itself is beautiful, spacious, very clean, and also very affordable, which made it perfect for spending several nights comfortably. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout my stay. I am truly delighted with this hotel — I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it without any hesitation.

Personalet var super søde. Hotellet er rent og faciliteterne er fine. God beliggenhed i forhold til indkøb og vaskeri. Ca. 30 min gåtur til centrum/Old Town.

Could use some updates
Our second time here. The room was HUGE (and we stayed in the smallest one!) which was at least 90m2. The bathroom was huge and luxurious with the nicest jacuzzi I have ever seen. Wrap-around balcony, furnishings and decor out of this world. External areas absolutely beautiful - reception, pool, breakfast room.
The staff didn't speak good English, couldn't even tell me about breakfast. Had to mime it. The lift was awful. We waited 10 minutes for it when we were trying to get to the airport. Location isn't brilliant but Grab gets you everywhere.

Very quiet area, which was good

The room was spacious. We used the jacuzzi bath once. The staff members were very helpful. We left our laundry and it was ready by breakfast the next day. We used the pool each of the two days we were there. The satellite tv channels were good.
The bedding was not clean when we arrived and so we asked for the sheets to be changed. We couldn’t figure out the fire exits and there were no information boards to tell us where to go in an emergency. The hotel is full of knick knacks and, unsurprisingly, these aren’t always clean and dust-free. Lights and lamps were broken and the outside of the lift on the floor we were on was sellotaped up. Tea lights were lit all over the place, which didn’t seem like a good idea as the whole hotel was full of wood. The location wasn’t so great as there wasn’t really anything going on in the evening and some of the local establishments were ‘karaoke’ bars.
