Hotel Zur Burg

Everything is very good. Good location, the room is perfect, breakfast tasty, staffs are friendly.

We have stayed for 4 nights and it was great.
The staff was great, the breakfast hearty and the saunas and swimming pool an wonderful welcome after a day of wondering.
The hotel is located on the edge of Kaprun and this allowed us to take it by foot and see it.
We recommend the location.

We have been there for 4 days and we have no doubt we will be back again! The manager of the place Miss Tatyana is pleasant, professional and very sensitive to the guests and their needs. outstanding service. The food was delicious (We took half board) the place was very clean.The Spa is very invested even in the small details.Highly recommended!

It is a decent hotel. It has an extraordinary view from the rooms. It has a free car parking, yet it is a bit tight. The rooms have no air condition, but it is fine during the night. During the day it is hot inside the rooms. The breakfast was not up to the expectations.

The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful, the location is excellent nice easy walk to town and restaurants

Location it was amazing and staff friendly and the view from balcony very nice.

We stopped here for a night during our road trip in Austria.
We arrived after dark but in the morning the view from the room was amazing! The room itself is very nice and cozy, comfortable bed , spacious bathroom, wifi signal and was quiet. It was extremely cold outside about 4 degrees but the room was in a good temperature without using heating.

If you are driving there's free parking outside of the hotel but we came during low season so check before. A low season downside is the unpredictable weather, most of the activities we planned to do were closed as well as the Grossglockner high alpine road which we came for. The staff were all really nice and helpful doing their best to find us an alternative activities for the day and gave us plenty of info. Thanks a lot!

The breakfast was included in our rate but unfortunately there was nothing for vegans we ended up eating some vegetables and fruits. The chef came to talk to us and tried to think of something but never came back. Hope they'll improve with the vegan options in the future - otherwise it was amazing!
Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy much of the hotel facilities such as the Spa or the nice balcony so when you come - take your time :)

We stayed at Hotel Zur Burg for 2 nights and it was heaven. The room had a beautiful balcony overlooking the Austrian Alps and the beautiful Austrian town of Kaprun. The hotel has great breakfast too. Also an indoor pool and jacuzzi (wellness centre) with great view. This hotel is a must visit if visiting Zell Am See. We chose to stay here over Zell am see as the hotel is on a mountain and has splendid view. The rooms are very comfortable too

A short stay. Very nice place with attention to detail. It started snowing and we had to leave to insure we got back to Vienna for our return flight home. The dinner and lunch were good. We were disappointed that they did not have the steak option we enjoyed on a previous visit. Very nice romantic place.

Situated in a great location. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Eating gluten free was not an issue here. In the summer we got the zell am see summer card, which was fantastic! Lots of activities in the area are then free.

Clean, nice room. Lovely bed. Staff was more than usual friendly and helpful, and made us feel really welcome. Delicious breakfast.

Hotel is located near the Kaprun Castle, where the SKI bus is coming (K2) to the Glacier. By foot you can get the bus in minutes. We had a small room located in the last floor with no view. Food was very good and spa/sauna is so quiet and nice equipped (finland sauna, herbs sauna and steam-bath). Parking is not that big and you can not have so much space for manipulating the car (problematic is when too much snow is on the place). Generally and finally I would return to here and I liked it. And the staff speaks german, english, magyar and czech/slovak.

I've stayed here for five weeks during my ski instructor course with
SIA .
The staff are what makes the place a good hotel location is 2 minutes from the ski bus .
The wellness is excellent the Steam Room is my favourite after a day skiing .
The food was excellent from day one and I was here for 5 weeks so I've tried almost every thing it's not Michelin star but for ski hotel is pretty good.
The Waiters are really friendly and helpful.
Both receptionists was so helpful as I need to print out a few emails and even did some typings for me .
I would definitely come back to this hotel .

Located a while from ski lifts, walking distance to the center. Nice, well equipped rooms. Unfortunately during our stay we had view times problems with hot water in the taps. Nice breakfast, but the menu and dishes for dinner much below average. I would recommend to take just breakfast and go for dinner outside the hotel. Very nice and helpful staff especially in the restaurant.

We have spent a perfect week in hotel Zurburg. The hotel is situated close to centre of Caprun - it takes about 5 minutes to reach it by walking. The hotel provides transport to the ski slopes and back what is very comfortable, especially if you travel and ski with children. It also provides an excellent servis, friendly and helpfull staff, comfortable and clean rooms, nice spa and really delicate food. Friendly and helpfull staff speak german, english, slovak and hungarian language also. We appreciate that they´ve made a lot of fun for our children - halloween party with costumes, outside disco, different kids competititions...We definitely recommend it

We had a great and lovely holiday in Zur Burg. Hotel is super nice, clean and it has a great wellness area with a great view and very warm jacuzzi. The staff is very polite and nice. We will definitelly come back.

Great hotel with great service! Loved the food: very complete breakfast buffet and great 4 course dinner every night with salad bar and choice of main course. Rooms are big and well appointed. Nice goose feather duvet. The spa/wellness area is amazing and is complimentary. Finnish sauna, dry sauna, steam, etc. Good jacuzzi and heated pool. All are super after a day skiing!

Hotel zur Burg is located in the centre of Kaprun. The hotel rooms are very nice (tradional) and all have a balcony. The bath room is spacecious and well equiped. The hotel has a swimming pool, jacuzzi and 3 sauna's. Relax area with a great view of Kaprun and it's mountains! Highly recommended.
