We stayed with Dimitri and his family for 13 days. The best thing was the town of Neo Klima. It is small and quiet. There is one bar, six good taverna's, a bakery, three supermarkets, (not Tesco's but you can get most things you want}. The beaches are a sand/shingle mix and you will need a pair of swimming shoes. The apartment is the best location in the town and you watch the boats being hired and the sailing yachts arriving from your balcony., The beds are comfortable, and we slept very well using the air conditioning when it was very hot. Dimitri and his family go out of there way to make your holiday memorable. We hired a scooter {Dimitri will rent you a car, if your happier on 4 wheels ), and visited lots of other beaches. We especially liked Limnonari where the sunbeds are free if you dine at their taverna. We had a brilliant holiday and highly recommend these apartments.
There is no shade on the balcony, and the afternoon sun got too hot to sit outside.
The location is good, as many have noted—close to the beach, supermarkets, and restaurants. To be fair, this isn’t really a town but more of a small settlement, so everything is compact and within easy walking distance.
Dated facilities and misleading star rating
The hotel is listed as 4 stars on Booking.com, but based on my experience, it feels closer to a 3-star property at best. The buildings and furniture look around 30 years old, and the overall offerings are very basic.
If you are traveling as a family, be aware of the room layout. The living room has no air conditioning, the kitchen is located inside the living area, and the very small toilet (around 3 sqm) is in the corridor leading to it. There is no privacy at all for guests sleeping in the living room. The two wooden sofa beds are narrow (about 1m wide each) and uncomfortable—it’s easy to bump into the wooden frames and get bruised. Honestly, this felt below Travelodge standards.
During summer, evenings are relatively cool (around 22°C in August), so the lack of air conditioning is manageable if you open the balcony doors. However, that comes with the risk of mosquitoes or other insects entering.
As for value, while the price may seem “reasonable” compared to the immediate area, it doesn’t feel fair when compared with similar destinations such as Corfu or Halkidiki, where there is more competition and better-quality options at the same price point.

Abbiamo soggiornato con la famiglia per 8 giorni. Abbiamo prenotato due camere con vista mare. Delizioso balcone affacciato sul mare. Ci siamo trovati bene accolti in modo professionale e amicale dal proprietario Dimitris sempre presente e pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza. La località è adatta a chi cerca tranquillità; ci sono tutti i servizi necessari, ristoranti per tutti i gusti, bakery e supermarket. C’e’ un bel lungo mare e poco distante raggiungibile a piedi la spiaggia di Ovolo
Un viaggio stupendo. Struttura magnifica, Dimitri e la sua famiglia delle persone meravigliose. È stato come un padre per noi, aiutandoci e fornendoci supporto in tutto, sempre, a qualsiasi ora. Grazie Dimitri, ci siamo sentiti coccolati e aiutati consapevoli che la tua bontà è sincera e non finta.
Sicuramente torneremo a trovarti, ci siamo sentiti a casa.

Neo Klima é uma vila pacata à beira mar, com belas praias acessíveis a pé e perto das melhores praias da ilha.
Os apartamentos são muito confortáveis e têm tudo o que precisamos para uma boa estadia.
Adorámos a varanda em frete à marina e à praia.
Altamente recomendável.

Fabulous Location overlooking harbour. Peaceful area and folk really friendly. Well equipped apartment which was spotlessly clean. Several good restaurants in easy walking distance. Nice beaches a few hundred metres away and regular bus service to Skopelos Town and Glossa. We will definitely be back
Unfortunately there was power cable running right across our view, but that can't be helped. An awning on the balcony would have been nice as it was so very hot in afternoon.

Dimitris couldn’t be more helpful or welcoming. Helped us with so many extras, hire car, taxi, water taxi. And the apartments are beautiful. Clean, well equipped and a spectacular location. A fantastic bakery very close as well as 2 mini marts. Cannot recommend highly enough!
