Midden in centrum
Pros:

Midden in de stad op het plein erg gezellig

Cons:

De kamer, was erg donker qua kleur de Rubens maakte het nog een beetje leuk.
Andere gasten die de deur hard dicht lieten vallen. Om 7 uur komen de vrachtwagens om te bevoorraden en het plein wordt met machine's schoongeboend dus vroeg wakker.

Onveilige situatie vastzitten in lift. Onjuiste presentatie Hotel op booking. Onderhoud belabberd.

Wij hebben ons verblijf voortijdig beëindigd door te vertrekken vanwege: een zeer onveilige situatie waarin wij vast hebben gezeten in een kleine benauwende lift en waarbij er een duidelijke discrepantie was tussen de presentatie van het hotel op booking.com en de feitelijke staat van het hotel. Achterstallig onderhoud en viezige entree, lobby, vloerbedekking en kamers. Na een lange reis hebben wij buiten op een terras even de tijd genomen te overwegen wel/ niet bij dit hotel te blijven. Toen wij hadden besloten niet te willen verblijven en te melden bij de receptie; bleven wij bij het halen van de koffers vastzitten in de lift. Dat was doorslaggevend om een ander hotel te boeken voor ons vieren (twee kamers). Wij hebben de receptie gevraagd om annulering of restitutie. Er was geen enkele vorm van overleg mogelijk. De supervisor (/eigenaar) was niet voor ons bereikbaar en we werden slechts verwezen naar mogelijkheid van mail correspondentie. Er werd geen zins medeleven getoond voor ons onveilige gevoel na vastzitten in de lift; er was geen overleg mogelijk over alternatieven. Bij vastzitten in de lift werd niet gereageerd op alarm en belfunctie vanuit de lift. Wij vermoeden dat het hotel niet over een onderhoudscontract beschikt. Wij hebben bij de politie melding gedaan van de onveilige situatie en patstelling. Na contact via klantenservice booking blijkt dat de hoteleigenaar een klacht (met onjuiste informatie!) tegen ons heeft ingediend. Helaas lijkt er geen mogelijkheid om op normaal redelijke wijze met deze hoteleigenaar in overleg te komen over de onveilige gebeurtenis. Wij hopen op z'n minst een woord van medeleven te ontvangen. Daarnaast hopen we dat booking voor een genus level 3 klant kan meedenken in een redelijke compensatie van de betaling van HotelO Kathedral.

En el corazón de Amberes
Pros:

Excelente ubicación, la mejor posible en Amberes, delante de la catedral. El desayuno muy correcto. La habitación con vistas a la catedral.

Cons:

Las almohadas son excesivamente gruesas lo que las convierte en incómodas. La bañera es demasiado alta y resulta peligroso salir de ella.

Locatie ligt perfect in het centrum en is goed bereikbaar met OV. Alles vanuit hier lopend te doen. Ook lekker ontbijt etc. beneden.

Cons:

De kamer is aanzienlijk kleiner dan de foto's doen geloven. Maar wel in de stijl die je daarop ziet.

Great hotel to explore Antwerp
Pros:

Great location, interior design of the room, roomview to the cathedral and helpful accommodating stuff

Cons:

Our bed was not comfortable, every night we struggled to fall asleep.
The 150 euro deposit the hotel requests you to pay takes up to 5-7 days to be released to your account which is way too long.
