Pros:

Wir waren absolut begeistert! Das Hotel liegt super zentral und ist total unkompliziert zu erreichen. Drinnen ist es richtig gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Hotelpersonal sehr freundlich und kommunikativ. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und freuen uns schon riesig, im April wiederzukommen!

un endroit où l’on se sent vraiment bien et où l’on a envie de revenir
Pros:

C’était mon troisième séjour dans cet hôtel et je l’adore toujours autant.
L’accueil est parfait, chaleureux et attentionné.
Ma chambre était superbe, avec un lit très confortable et des draps de qualité. La salle de bain était impeccable, bien équipée et agréable.
Le salon avec cheminée est un vrai plus : un bon feu, une atmosphère cosy qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable.

En un mot : un endroit où l’on se sent vraiment bien et où l’on a envie de revenir.

The best!
Pros:

I’m honestly a bit speechless about my beautiful stay at Hotel Julien. After 10 days of work in Scotland, my five days in Antwerp were a much-needed break. I’d injured my knee a few weeks earlier, and the hotel staff went out of their way to move me to a room near the elevator—which wasn’t easy.

They even offered to help me find a doctor, and by some miracle, got me an appointment next door at 11 a.m. that same morning. It was incredibly helpful. The staff truly seemed to care and take pride in their work—real customer service, which feels increasingly rare, especially coming from the U.S.

The hotel itself is a hidden architectural gem. From my room, I had a stunning view of the cathedral, beautifully lit up at night. The location is perfect for walking or hopping on the tram, and I always felt safe.

Another hidden treasure at the Julien is their serene hammam and an incredible massage therapist—both made my stay feel like a retreat.

It was hard to leave what had become a sanctuary for me. I’m deeply grateful to everyone at Hotel Julien for such a memorable and healing stay. I hope to return someday!

Cons:

My first room was small, plain, and up a long flight of stairs, so the upgrade was a huge gift. Breakfast was delicious but light—though you can order more à la carte. The only downside was getting there from the train; finding the bus depot and a taxi wasn’t easy. I wish the arrival process were simpler.

Goede locatie in centrum Antwerpen, mooi design living met bar

Het onthaal en living ernaast is heel mooi! Zeer gezellig met haardvuur aan, je kan er ook genieten van de bar. Wij hadden de Moodkamer geboekt, gezellig, niet zo'n grote kamer. Flesje water aanwezig van het huis - badjas en slippers aanwezig.

Cons:

Er lag overal heel veel stof in de kamer op alle zwarte vlakken, zoals Oasop flessen in badkamer, zwarte bureaulamp,... maar we konden dit nog wel wegdenken tot als we aan het ontbijtbuffet kwamen. Dit was heel miniem voor €32. Eieren/ omelet of pancakes waren bij te betalen aan €9. Koffie/thee was wel gelukkig gratis inbegrepen. ik was enorm teleurgesteld over ontbijtbuffet en dit op 1/01/26. De badkamer is klein!

Cons:

Badkamer. De douche heeft echt een beperkte straal en de wastafel spoelde niet door (ook terug gekoppeld aan personeel). En voor deze prijs vind ik dat je wel service als Netflix mag verwachten

De kamer was zeer stoffig. De vuilbakken van de mensen voor ons werden niet geledigd.
