The room was comfortable, attractive and clean

Cons:

There was one staff person at a time. When we arrived, I was told I had not paid attention to an email explaining the doors would be locked at 5:30. I did not care, I simply had been on vacation already a week, and was jmnot needing or expecting an email. For thus I was scolded and insulted. Twice, actually.
It turns out we were the only guests that night. Thus my 17 year old granddaughter and I, her 80 year old grandmother, were entirely alone in this old building on the third floor. It worked for us, as I had lived in Europe for almost 20 years and am a frequent traveler, and my granddaughter is resilient. When we realized we were completely alone we quickly confirmed the emergency number for fire and police. It would have never worked for someone less self confident in a foreign country.
The continental breakfast offered for an additional 21CHF per person was at least day old stale rolls, with processed cheese wedges, no fruit no nithing. Needless to say, it was inedible, and the much more hospitable person working that day didn't charge us for trying to eat. We went out the next two mornings.
The room was quite nice, but the service and the whole atmosphere was anything but hospitable or welcoming. I would never recommend.

Absolutely perfect location for exploring Bern old town.
Pros:

Everything - the location is absolutely spot on- the rom commensurate with what we paid for it, room faced the road so some tram noise but didn't prevent us sleeping, everything about our visit was exactly as described and what we hoped for - perfect of one or two night stay in Bern old town.

Cons:

Nothing really.

Comfortable, good location but lacking in some areas.
Pros:

(I didn't take breakfast.) Room was pleasantly warm. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

TV did not work. I was told there was no reception.
Tea, milk, water was not replenished each day.
Shower was just about warm enough.
No information, eg I did not know how to turn on lighting, where to plug in kettle, how to use coffee maker.

Das einzige Gute war wirklich nur! die Lage

Cons:

Alles: von Personal (sehr unfreundliche Frau bei der Reception, war unhöflich und hat von 13 uhr bis 16 uhr Break Time gehabt, um dann um 18 Uhr Reception zu schließen) bis zu alten Gebäude (alles stinkt nach Schweiß und Staub) bis zu dreckigem Zimmer ( Blick auf Innenhof, wo Geruch von Kebab und Marijuana reinging). Es war im Zimmer sehr warm auch mit der Heizung auf null, aber unmöglich Fenster auszumachen wegen Geruch. Der Boden war sehr lange nicht geputzt und die Hälfte von Steckdosen hat nicht funktioniert. Das Badezimmer was sehr alt und allgemein alles hat eine komplette Renovierung gebraucht.

Gute Lage, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Für die Lage nachts sehr ruhig. Bequeme Betten und sehr schöne Bilder und Gestaltung der Zimmer.

Cons:

Sauberkeit, Zimmregrösse, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat für mich nicht gestummen. Zimmergrösse entsprach nicht den Abbildungen und für ein "Boutique "Hotel war das Zimmer zu klein und die Sauberkeit nicht so gut.

Un séjour très agréable.
Pros:

Très bon emplacement au centre ville et en plus très calme. Proche de toutes commodisées. Nous avons adorés.
