Auf schriftliche Anfrage bekam ich keine Antwort.
Jetzt werde ich andere Wege einschlagen müssen.
All the receptionist I encountered were nice. There was one specifically that during my return from being out came to help me hold the door since my hands were full with shipping bags and dinner.
The property was always clean and quiet, as far as guest goes. I only heard once towards the weekend, someone in the hallways being louder but wasn’t for long.
I liked that if you want a burger, in and out is walking distance and so is coffee and other little shops.
The traffic and construction at night was terrible! Right outside my window, you can hear it ALL! Non stop all night. Construction going at 1 am too! Besides the king size bed being hard as a rock, the noise level of traffic makes me rate this lower than I would. It really was that bad. Perhaps it was the 3rd floor where I was staying, idk.
The Hotel Alexis is a unique property. The hotel has a vintage feel that I like. The size of the place is a nice throwback to the more grandiose Hotels of the past. The rooms, even simple queen and king rooms, aren't cramped and have real furniture that's modern but solid. It's well built like most older construction and the noise level in the rooms is fantastic. I can't remember the last time I stayed in a quieter place.
The other side of such a large property is the upkeep. They have a "garden area" and pool opposite the hallway from each other that could be a shining feature like I'm sure it used to be. Alas, the pool was clean but that's about it. Nothing more. The garden area was overgrown and unusable. The old ballroom was blocked off and blacked out The outside of the property was overgrown and in need of considerable upkeep and repair.
Overall, this place is a bargain. The room is what matters the most at the end of the day and for the money, it's clean and QUIET! Would not hesitate to stay here for business travel again. If atmosphere is also on your list, maybe look elsewhere.

Beds and pillows were pretty hard. Hotel hallways had an odor to them.
The TV, bathroom was clean & well stocked.
The TV wasn't set up correctly. There was a code to unlock shows rated MA & higher; we didn't know the code, maintenance didn't know it either & couldn't help us. The A/C system rattled & was noisy. Woke up, couldn't sleep the 1st night.Why does coffee packet have only one sugar, creamer, sugar substitute? Had to go down to front desk & request more...overall, clean & comfortable.

The mattress was terrible. I'm pretty sure there were springs poking through the top of the mattress. The room had an odd odor and the AC unit was extremely loud.
