Pros:

La chambre, le petit déjeuner.
La piscine est pas mal bien qu'un peu petite quand il y a un peu de monde

Cons:

La température de l eau de la douche non réglable . Dans notre cas bouillante ! Dommage par rapport au niveau de prestation payé !
Nous en avons fait part à l'accueil dès notre arrivée mais aucune amélioration

Heerlijk hotel, prima ontbijt buffet en zeer praktisch gelegen.
Pros:

Uitstekend hotel midden in het centrum met een eigen privé parkeerplaats. Ideaal voor een bezoek aan Gognac

Très bon hôtel, excellent rapport qualité prix
Pros:

Hôtel très bien situé. J'avais un peu peur en réservant un hôtel sur une place mais très bonne isolation. Aucun souci de ce coté-là. Chambre très confortable et excellent petit déjeuner

Cons:

apparemment un manque de communication : ni la famille présente à la piscine ni moi n'avons reçu d'indication sur le fonctionnement du hammam, et quand je suis remonté demander il n'y avait personne à la réception.

Fantastisch verblijf in een heerlijk hotel in het centrum.
Pros:

Perfecte locatie en kamer ga je het gevoel van luxe. Heel vriendelijke staf.

Cons:

Het beperkte aantal parkeerplaatsen en de ruimte om te manoeuvreren. Gelukkig had de bijzonder vriendelijke dame van de receptie ervoor gezorgd dat we de volgende dag er goed uit konden komen.

A night without sleep and drops from the ceiling
Pros:

The hotel is not bad, and it is clear that it was renovated not so long ago. But it looks like they saved on something.

Cons:

Everything that was happening on the street (cars, music in them, conversations of passers-by, etc.) was perfectly audible in our room. The window always remained closed, and there was no way to open it (there was no handle).

After midnight, we were woken up by drops from the ceiling. The water got in through the lamp in the bedroom, through the door jamb and just oozed from the ceiling in the hall. I assume that it was condensation formed from the air conditioning system not only in our room. Judging by the large, long-standing red spot on the ceiling, the problem arose long before our arrival. The receptionist was only able to help by stuffing a few towels into the lamp hole. After half an hour, they swelled from moisture, and the leak resumed.

The hotel manager apologized the next morning, but refused to talk about compensation for a sleepless night (unfortunately, we made a full prepayment for the room), he declined under the pretext that "the owner of the hotel is resting and it is inconvenient to disturb him."

But otherwise everything is fine.

Perfect for a short visit to Cognac
Pros:

Good breakfast, secure parking even for my 2.2 metre high van, staff were lovely, central location, nice bar.

Cons:

Their separate restaurant which was a short walk away had a very poor menu.
