Belvedere Hotel Brasov

This hotel is lovely. Our room had two single beds, a TV with English language channels, a fridge and a refurbished bathroom. There was a heater but no air conditioning. Power points were scarce but there was a power board. The room was very clean and comfy.

The hotel has a good restaurant. The food is well cooked, the serves generous and the prices reasonable. They also have very pleasant house wine.

The staff are friendly and helpful.

I came here with my family for the wedding of my cousin. Rooms very clean. Staff very polite. The hotel’s restaurant was great and the breakfast better than in some top hotels in Bucharest. The pool and Gym are both great. Nothing bad to say about this hotel. Congrats

We had a large room(11) with a huge balcony and lovely view.
Bathroom huge, with a strange Bath and shower over Bath.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the restaurant with it's amazing view and superb food.
However, a couple of things to mention was that in the restaurant we were trying to order some drinks from the staff and the waitress quite sharply and loudly said that we would have to wait in a really rude manner. Otherwise service was fairly good.
The breakfast was awful, it is in the grand hotel Belvedere on the same site but in a separate area. The room was a huge cavenous space and signed ballroom.
The food was awful, everything stale and cold. Complete lack of any staff or manager.

Adequate facilities, location and services. Ableism pedantry conservatism and xenophobia in evidence. If that's not your vibe give it a miss if you are neurodiverse queer or other minority. Various problematic interactions with minor staff members.

I had a stay here in my visit to the beautiful place of Brasov, my stay here was one of a kind and made me dream that one day I might eventually own a home here, the view is out of this world, I am really glad my friends showed me around :)

Lets start with the fact that the showers are not built right so they always flood the room.
On Friday they hosted a wedding at the top floor restaurant that was heard well in all the rooms till late night. Then in one of the rooms the door lock was missing batteries so they started by blaming the kids with damaging it.
On top of all that when we wanted to check-out they had the nerve to accuse us of stealing a blanket and a bath robe. As if we came to Romania just to steal hotel equipment. I ended up paying 280 lei for stuff I didn't steal, and when I asked to talk to the manager, the receptionist called Carmen refused to call her. Shame on this misserable hotel, do your best to avoid it.

Very nice hotel, loved our stay there, we certainly gonna come back. The hotel has a very nice restaurant with very good food and lovely staff. The rooms were nice and clean and the breakfast was very ok with many food products for the children and vegetarians.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Check-in procedure is fast, the room was great, with a nice view. We had view to the main street, it was a little bit noise because of the motorbikes.
The room was clean, very big. In the bathroom we have everything we needed: shampoo, shower gel etc.
The minibar is extra but decent prices.
The breakfast is very good, much variety, I was really impressed. The only thing I would like more is a bigger terrace for more people to be able to eat outside.
The pool is nice, big enough, very warm inside. It is such a pity that because of pandemy they had no spa ( we wanted some massages packages).
If you dont come by car you can walk around, you can even go to the city by foot but climbing back can take you 20-30 minutes.
Overall I really liked this hotel and I can recommend it.

Rooms: Some definite misses - no shampoo, conditioner, etc in my room (only one little bar of soap), couldn't get safe to work & nondescript rooms. It is a distance from the town & taxi service was not reliable. There was a wedding going on so bar was closed to hotel guests. We ate dinner at the restaurant and was disappointed with the food. The front desk was helpful & friendly. Large breakfast spread.

No way a 4* hotel the old building, cheap furniture, leaks in the bathroom, most photos are from the new hotel , so check where you will stay , also the indoor pool , located in the new hotel , you have to cross the street in bathrobes.
But most of it , was the bad behavior of the guy from desk front, when we ask him details regarding the restaurant, room view… all this 280 euro for 2 nights , double superior with a “stunning” view to the parking area.
Still , one good thing was the breakfast, but of course, you have to cross the street to the new hotel.

Overall, a bad joke for a 4* hotel

Het is een gedateerd hotel ( 3* meer niet) kamers zijn eenvoudig, douche ronduit waardeloos is geplaatst in een bubbelbad (oud bad aan vervanging toe) maar de straal was niet krachtig genoeg.
We hadden 2 nachten geboekt maar zijn na 1 nacht vertrokken.
Personeel is erg vriendelijk.

With a few family members and friends we visited this beautiful part of Romania and very absolutely satisfied with everything. The city Brasov is a small city but offering all kind of fun restaurants ski tracks nearby pleasant local people and delicious food. Would definitely reccommend as nearby country very reachable with so much to offer. Definitely worth exploring.

Arrived late 2130 still able to use the restaurant which has excellent food and a view.
The room was perfect again with good view and balcony.
Used the laundry service which was fine.
Parking is available.
The hotel is on a hill side and signposted once through Braşov itself.
A bear crossed the road about a mile from the hotel, whilst I was driving.

We recently had our wedding ceremony there and we had a blast. Very well trained and helpful staff, excellent food, excellent service. I really can't find anything to complain about, but praise the service quality and the helpfulness of all staff involved in making this day indeed a special one. I can't imagine how it would have been without Radu's permanent assistance and guidance. Many thanks!

Mixed feelings on this one!
The good stuff - we had a suite to fit in two extra beds, lots of space and great for 4 people. Comfortable beds, even the extra ones for the kids. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nice (but freezing even in August!) outdoor pool. 10 minute downhill walk to the old town (you will want a taxi back - approx 10 lei). Fantastic views.
The not so good stuff - bathroom was very outdated, no screen or curtain on the shower over the bath (quite possibly the worst shower I have ever used!) and nowhere at all to put your toiletries except the floor. Breakfast buffet area had a really odd smell which completely put you off eating (although the eating area was fine). Over priced for the quality of accommodation.

It you need to stop somewhere for a couple of days,do no hesitate to book a room at Belvedere resort.Nice people,comfortable suits and a quiet place where to swim and have a sun bath.You can have your breakfast even if you are a bit late and nobody will be upset.

The staff was very nice and helpful,and the room comfortable, but definitely not a 4 star hotel.

The bathroom was a little bit outdated, furniture in the room not according to the hotel class, and the indoor pool is not in the same building.Is it across the street.

Definitely not 4 star. The building is very poor and needs a total revamp. Musty smell of the old carpets in the corridors. No outdoor pool but you can use an indoor pool in a nearby hotel. The outdoor pool area is closed off altogether. The breakfast & the staff were the only positive things about this place.

I stayed in the Belvedere Hotel, boutique section, which was the older original section. It was not a 4 star experience. The room while spacious was a bit dated. The parquet wood floors made for a noisy night. Also the curtains did nothing for keeping the light out once the sun came out in the morning.

The bath was large, but not very practical. There was no counter and very little in the way of products.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The heating worked too well. I had to turn off the radiators and open the windows in order to achieve a comfortable temperature in the room.

The breakfast was generous.

we had a perfect stay in this hotel. Everyone was kind and the view is absolutely amazing.We had to use buses and taxis to get to the old town but we choosed it anyway because of the view and we didn t regret our decision. Brasov looks amazing in the autumn time!Thank you for a great holiday!
