The Esplanade is a quaint old hotel. It is right opposite the wharf and in the centre of the village. Great walks and shopping. Cafes and restaurants so close. Great friendly service. Comfortable room. Fantastic shower pressure. Nice view from the room
Couldn’t unlock the door to get onto the balcony .
The location is excellent. The bed was so comfortable and everything was clean.

The location and our room with the attached sitting room was great.
The guy at the front desk was a bit impersonal and not that friendly, talked at us not to us.
Loved the upgrade to the apartment. Nice authentic rooms
Outside was a little shabby but still had great character
Great location and looks great!
The smell was off putting. Old but beautiful potential.
The person who greeted and assisted us as we arrived and left, and everything in between.

Lovely place
The building interior was awesome and beautiful old is gold
Quirky hotel set on the waterfront in Devonport. Opposite the ferry terminal - near all the cafes and restaurants with a supermarket within walking distance.
There is free parking near the hotel - space to unload bags in front.
The location was great in Devonport.
There was no car parking for the guests and you had to find parking nearby.
Great location, large room.
Room was fine but would have preferred a better view which we usually have.
The location is superb, right in central Devonport very close to the foreshore and the ferry.
The hotel is old and tired but still very comfortable.
Upgraded to the penthouse suite. Reminded me of photographs of Colonial India.
It was looking a bit tired but with great character. The girl in the bar was fabulous helping us out with many aspects of our stay!
In a perfect world the tap would needed tightening and the room would benefit from being refurbished.
