Great hotel stay with good service, but breakfast can be better.
Pros:

My superior room was spacious and very comfortable. It was also very quiet. No noise from outside or nearby rooms.

Quiet neighborhood and walking distance to the Taichung train station, but may take more than ten minutes.

Cons:

A lot of breakfast items were cold. Three different kinds of fruit are available, but only if you eat early. Otherwise, some dishes or fruit are not replenished.

Not a ton of restaurants nearby. A couple of blocks away there is a great old fashion bakery store with lots of traditional treats.
