My family and I just got back from an amazing stay at the Caribbean Club. The accommodations were amazing with large 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom suites which were able to comfortably fit our family of 5 adults and were serviced twice daily by housekeeping. The view of seven mile is amongst the best on the beach and we had a great welcome meal at Luca. What really sets Caribbean Club apart is the staff. Shawnee and Mimzi helped us pick a room and set up excursions and birthday surprises before we even arrived. The guys on the beach remembered where we liked to sit and how many chairs we needed by day 2. The staff truly makes this place incredible and we cannot wait to return.
Sh!t, The resort supported a conflict between us and a group of guests, making both parties miserable instead of resolving the issue even after we followed their instructions.
Every aspect of our stay was perfect from the luxurious and sparkly clean accommodations to the amazing private beachfront location to the polite and helpful staff to the excellent Luca restaurant. A perfect score a perfect 10 in all categories across the board. If you're looking for privacy and luxury, this is the place to stay in Cayman.
.
We have been coming to Caribbean Club for 15 years. The accommodations are immaculate and well appointed. Beach is perfect and there is no fighting for chairs. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. The front desk staff is gracious and makes you feel at home. I couldn’t imagine going any place else.
From the first interaction when inquiring about booking, to arrival, accommodations, staff on-site to location this was beyond a 5-star experience. The facilities are immaculately clean, safe and incredible location on Seven mile beach.
Our family of 7 stayed here for the week of Thanksgiving. We were on the top floor with a fabulous view of the beach from our outdoor patio!
Our kitchen was well-equipped and there was a coffee machine as well.
Every morning our beach loungers and umbrellas were set up by the wonderful beach staff, shout out to Ricky who I really liked. He was courteous and friendly! We only ate at the restaurant on Thanksgiving. There was a buffet that included all the traditional Thanksgiving foods as well as their al carte menu. All the food was delicious and the service was exactly what you’d expect from a high-end restaurant. One of the food and drink runners for the beach, Naveem (?) was very friendly and helpful as well.
Overall our stay was great!
My family and I have been here 9 times before and despite the reviews on line it is amazing by now all the staff know my family and we know them we always stay in villa 8 and l love everything about it🩷🩷🩷🩷 it is just amazing and is my home away from home!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this hotel! Although it doesn’t look the greatest online, trust me, it is amazing. My family has been here 9 times and we will definitely keep coming back in the future. The service is amazing, the beach is beautiful and not crowded at all! The rooms and villas are clean and spacious. My family has always stayed in villa 8, which is a 1 minute walk to the beach, as are all the other villas and rooms. Also there are a lot of restaurants, activities, and bars within a short walk on the beach or road. The hotel also has an amazing restaurant called Luca, which has amazing food and service. We will definitely be coming back, Caribbean Club is truly my slice of paradise!
Amazing hotel/condo! The location is perfect and the beach goes on for miles! The beach is amazing here and there is plenty of sand to layout and for the kids to play. The water is gentle and not too rough for younger kids to get in and swim. The hotel has an amazing pool. The Luca restaurant offers room service as well as beach service. Villa 2 offers so much more than your average hotel. Villa 2 has three bedrooms and each bedroom had their own ensuite bathrooms, large kitchen and large living room so an entire family has room to sit and relax. Villa 2 had updated bathrooms with a new stand alone tub in the master and new shower. Bathrooms 2 and 3 had brand new shower/tubs with glass enclosures. There was even a built in icemaker in the kitchen and a cooler to use on the beach available. The Villas located pool front and beach front really offer amazing privacy and access to the pool and beach. Absolutely stunning here! Well managed and exceptionally cared for grounds!!
I don’t even know where to begin… this place is absolutely breathtaking and the service is immaculate!!! 100% recommend to family and friends we want a beautiful and relaxing stay. I promise you won’t regret it. The beach, which is unforgettable , is amazingly clear I’ve never seen anything like it.
I was not disappointed during my stay. Everything was so clean and tidy. I would definitely return. The staff is very kind and accommodating. The pool was warm and there were floaties for use. The staff was helping with the pool and luggage. I have nothing bad to say :)
Had a girls trip here and 100% recommend. It was a stunning place, just the rooms alone has us blown away. The beach looked like a pool and staff was so friendly and sweet. Everything was always kept clean and neat, we loved every second of our stay!!
Stayed 5 nights in early June 2024. Beautiful property and beach. Service was first class, but how management dealt with our displacement was disappointing. A few nights into our stay, a water heater burst in the room above us and flooded it. Water rushed into our unit via many of the lighting fixtures and other ceiling openings. This was very traumatic for our three kids; not to mention fairly dangerous due to electrical shock risk. We were moved to a unit that was an unfortunate down-grade from the unit that we originally had. We spent several hours that evening moving all of our now wet items, groceries, etc. to this new room. I asked the front desk to have management call me the next day to discuss the displacement, no response. Called the next morning and left another message for management to call; no response. Then the next day, called again and reached a manager. I asked what compensation they could provide due to this experience, and they only agreed to one night's stay and some restaurant charges.
I'm not angry about the flooding accident, as this was probably not preventable. I'm also not angry about the severe room down-grade we were given, as maybe that was the only room available. My disappointment comes from the communication from management and their response to these issues. At the room rates charged here and their touting of a "first class" experience, management should have been talking to me the next morning at the latest and the compensation offer should have been much larger in my opinion. We will pick another hotel/condo near-by on our next trip as there are many very good options in this area.
We stayed in one the beachfront villas with our family of seven (six adults and one infant) and it was perfection. The villa was spacious and offered plenty of room for our family and the decor was like it was out of a magazine. The view couldn't have been better as there might not be a unit as close to the waterline on all of Seven Mile Beach. Huge wraparound porch was perfect for morning coffee, meals, and watching sunsets. The Caribbean Club team did an amazing job taking care of everything from setting up our chairs / umbrellas every day, to twice a day cleaning and serving great food and drinks while on the beach. Luca is a fantastic restaurant and you won't want to miss the Sunday brunch - - the best! There is a nice reef for snorkeling about 250 meters off the beach, and the water was calm and perfect for paddle boarding. If you are looking for something that will provide unrivaled relaxation, then the Caribbean Club is for you!
Excellent Property.
Their front desk team needs some working on because they give couldn't care less attitude.
I stayed at the Caribbean Club for a week at the end of December with my 3 kids. We had a spacious 3 bedroom unit with plenty of room for everyone. The location of the building is great: 20 minutes from the airport (although no airplane noise), 5 minute drive to a great grocery store and Camana Bay, and one of the largest private beach areas of all the resorts along 7 Mile Beach. Beach at Palm Heights was very narrow and crowded and beach at the Ritz had the chaises lined up shoulder to shoulder. I would definitely not stay there. I learned a few things about the Caribbean Club property during my stay that I thought would be useful for others planning a visit.
1. Oceanfront rooms are not oceanfront: Units advertised as "oceanfront" are not on the beach. They are actually located behind the pool. Units listed as "Beachfront" are the ones on the ocean front. I'm sure this was disclosed somewhere but I missed it.
2. Decor differs from room to room: these condos are all individually owned and the decorating varies as a result. The unit we stayed in during the second part of our stay (504 I think) was much more nicely done than the one we stayed in during the first part of our stay (unit 204.) If you're particular, you might want to ask for some pictures of the specific unit you'll be staying in.
3. Noise: "Oceanfront units on the 2nd floor (in the main tower) are directly above the restaurant so expect some noise from that. Also, units on the north side of the building abut the garbage dumpster area and those trucks come early. In general, I don't think the Seven Mile Beach area is very quiet. If you're looking for peace and solitude, I'd suggest staying on a different part of the island.
Fitness Center: this was a disappointment. It's basically a cube on top of the roof. Small with just a few pieces of equipment. Might not matter for your family but thought I would mention it.
Beach: there was never a problem getting a chair at the beach, even though we were there during what was probably the busiest week of the year. Each chair is set up with a cushion and terry cloth cover. Because of the wide expanse of beachfront, chairs were nicely spread out so you don't feel at all crammed in.
This property does it right! Incredible housekeeping staff; always friendly and they do an amazing job. The front desk staff was so cute with hiding the Elf on the Shelf each day; we enjoyed trying to find him! Great service at the beach. Overall the staff was there for all that we needed. My only disappointment is the restaurant. With the selection of food in Grand Cayman, I'd say eat elsewhere.
Caribbean Club is wonderful - they have the best location on Seven Mile Beach. You are two properties away from the Ritz - with its overcrowded beaches. Staying here is like having a villa to yourself.
CONDOS: HUGE - all the rooms are huge. Stayed in a 3/3 in the tower. Layout is great. Each bedroom has an en-suite. Open kitchen, dining, living area with amazing views of the beach. Plenty of plates and appliances to cook your own meals. Washer and dryer so you don't have to pack so many clothes. Daily cleaning service to make beds, freshen towels and tidy up.
BEACH: Attendant to set you up with cushions, covers, towels and umbrellas. Plenty of pool floats and noodles available to use. You can rent a SUP for $40 an hour. The beach is perfect and not crowded at all. Can do some snorkeling and see some small colorful fish not far from shore. Did say a stingray twice during our week stay.
They also have a waiter to bring drinks and food. Drinks are great - pack a thermos to keep them cold. Beach food has a nice selection from ceviche, burgers, quesadilla, sandwiches. All from their restaurant Luca.
RESTAURANT: Luca is on the first floor. They have great food - really enjoyed the tuna tacos and ceviche. They have a lovely wine selection as well. They are known for Sunday brunch.
Again, Ritz is only two properties down and Tillie's restaurant is two properties the other direction if you want to get drinks or eat somewhere in walking distance.
GETTING AROUND: If you are here for 4 plus days rent a car - Avis is great. It's cheap and easy to get around. The Foster's grocery is close by will blow you away with their selection of products and ready to eat options.
JET SKI : We rented a jet ski right on the beach. Flagged them down when they were dropping of next door.
Absolutely loved the CC! The location on SMB is perfect. The housekeeping staff, wait staff at Luca and the pool staff were all amazing! The only negative review would be the front desk staff. We gave them chances to redeem themselves but it never happened. They just weren’t one bit friendly or welcoming.
My family and I only just returned from our stay at the Caribbean Club. The facilities are absolutely beautiful, and the view from our room was STUNNING! We stayed in a three bedroom unity and had more than enough space for our family of 5. We didn't use the kitchen much as we weren't there that long; however, when we (hopefully) return, we will stay longer and plan to cook breakfast. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, each with a ceiling fan, and the master connected to the balcony. The balcony, with its loungers, was my favorite part - the perfect place to sprawl out with a book and a glass of wine after a long day at the beach.
There is a grocery store nearby - it is walkable but a little bit of a trek (my husband and I had no problem doing it on our own, but it would have been tricky with the kids); however, you can order your groceries in advance through the hotel. I HIGHLY recommend doing this! There is also a liquor store across the street - super convenient!
We ate at LUCA a couple of times - great service and great food! We also ate at Tillie's (a short walk down the beach) for breakfast and dinner - the view there is amazing - you could not be closer to the ocean! - and the food and service was great. For comparison, we also ate dinner at Saint June at the Ritz and found the food FAR better at Tillie's and LUCA, and the price was better as well.
We snorkeled right off the shore with the kids. At first, it seemed there wasn't much to see, but soon learned that the trick was to go out a bit farther - probably about 100 ft or so off show, past the buoys to where the water appears a bit darker. From there, we saw numerous types of fish (grouper, snapper, parrot fish), we saw an eel, several sea turtles, and some squid. My son (12 years old and a great swimmer) loved it! It was a bit far out for my girls (7 and 8), but they were content snorkeling closer in and looking at smaller fish.
We took a charter out to Stingray City - Ezona's Charter (we would HIGHLY recommend) and had a great day there!
The only downside we found was (with a handful of exceptions) the service at the hotel. There was never any one at the front desk - to get service I had to call out to see if anyone was there each time. The front desk arranged the charter, and told me they had arranged for a taxi to pick us up at 8:50 for our 9 am charter. In fact, there was no taxi. We waited the next morning, but no taxi came. The man working at the front, also thinking one had been arranged by the hotel, did not call for one until it was past 9, at which point we were late for the charter. All in all, we missed nearly 30 minutes of our charter, and were unable to visit Starfish Point - where my girls were most excited to go. Of course, the cost of the charter was the same.
It was possible to get drinks/food on the pool and beach, but it was nearly impossible to get any service. Our last day of the trip was the only day anyone actually came by to ask us if we wanted anything. It was also the only time anyone returned later to see if we wanted another drink. Every other day we had to ask the man working on the beach with the towels and chairs - who was amazing by the way! he was super attentive and quick to get us a great spot every day, AND would find us a server when we needed a drink - and only then would someone come by to take our drink order. It would take quite some time for the drink to come (and the beach was quite empty - a HUGE plus in our opinion) and then we were lucky if we ever saw the server again.
Needless to say, with the exception of the man working the chairs at the beach, and also the housekeeping service (she was lovely), the service at this hotel was not what I would have expected for a 5-star resort. That being said, the grounds, the room, the beach, the location, the restaurants - everything else was so incredibly perfect and beautiful (and also the ease by which you can simply get your own drinks and bring a cooler down with you truly minimizes the downside) that the positive FAR outweigh the negative in my opinion. We would love to return to this spot, and, in fact, could not imagine staying anywhere else on Seven Mile Beach. Some of the other high rated hotels (the Ritz for example), seemed so much more crowded - rows and rows of chairs on the beach with nowhere to walk - and did not offer the large, spacious suite option that we found here (we had looked at getting two rooms at the Ritz and chose this on instead). Not to mention the restaurant was better here too!
We cannot wait to return, and would highly recommend this spot - particularly for families!
