Really great place to stay. Nice basic apartments with a good pool and pool bar. Great location 100 metres to the beach and some nice restaurants to watch the sun set from and 100 metres in the other direct to the main strip. Lovely mountain views
Stayed for 5 days with family. Fantastic price for the location. Situated between the beach and the town. Pool is spotless and restaurants nearby were delicious.
Pantoufles: Non
Bouteille d'eau gratuite: Non
The apartment was very nice, typical for a bungalows, pool was very clean. Wifi did not work very well. The best of the apartment was the barman and his family, they were very friendly, helped with everything you need. We have travelled around the whole island and found out Acharavi was the best choice. It is close to all the best beaches and is not as crowd as in the south.
The internet didn't work in the room. Was close to beach & shops which was great. Room was clean & quite
We stayed as a large party in 3 appartments and it was lovely. A quite family run complex with a lovely pool. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and it was 100 metres from both the beach and the town
These appartments are great. They are a family run complex that are situated half way down a side road to the beach so you are less then 100 metres to both the beach and town. They are well equipped and are a really good size. We had appartments A1 & A2 which are one bedroomed but have 2 large balconies. They were great as you could have sun on one balcony and shad on the other.
We stayed as a family group and had 2 one bedroom appartments and one studio. Wonderful complex and perfect location for everything. Huge and well maintained pool and grounds.
Great place, lovely pool, fabulous staff.
Very good appartment nice pool rooms are clean beds are hard.
We had a duplex apartment which was clean and had plenty room for the five of us with two bathrooms and three balconies. However the showers didn't work very well at all. The air con was 10 euros per day (for two units) and worked well.
The grounds of the complex were pretty and well kept. The pool was a good size and was clean. The area around the pool was narrow and sunbeds were on a raised step with not much room between them. This may have been a bit uncomfortable if the area was full. The pool bar and snack bar were closed all week (no explanation why). However you could take in your own food/drink. There was no one on reception as such; we called a number on the door and Alex arrived straight away and was always pleasant and helpful.
Very clean, spacious 2 bedroomed apartment with a nice bathroom and a big balcony. Well equipped for self catering (although I don't ever prepare food on holiday at all so cannot say if any of the appliances worked or not!) with plenty of space for four people. Cleaned four times and towels and sheets changed once during our week's stay which I felt to be perfectly acceptable. No pool bar or any facility on site to get food or drink which suited us all perfectly as you had to walk 2 minutes in either direction - left to the beach, right to the strip - to have these needs met so you got some exercise (!) but this may be a problem for some people. Pool large, clean and almost always empty (and we were there in the peak of the peak season) except for us - no problem getting a sunbed at any time of the day no matter how late we got up. Owners not on site all the time but they were there every day at various times and were very friendly and helpful - this 'hands off' approach suited us perfectly as we like being left alone to get on with it but others may not like this. All in all a lovely place to stay and I would recommend and return.
Apartments very clean and kitchens well fitted out with equipment.
Great location lovely pool though only disappointment was bar was never opened.. Therefore we used matoula next door!!
Good facilities although the pool was very quiet with little space for the kids to run around
The agony of public indebtedness in Greece goes on, but the Corfiot attitude towards foreign visitors seems unaltered. The staff at Nireas are no exception. The furniture may be a little spartan, the cooking facilities extremely limited, the television tuned to channels you could not possibly want to watch, but it won't matter. They will offer you what they have; they will be kind to your children; they will meet you with a smile and try to make you comfortable. The swimming-pool is enormous and meticulously maintained. Better still, the sea is five minutes' walk down a lane, and it is a good beach - unlike what the guidebooks say - far better than neighbouring Roda or Sidari, which have more sand but dirty sand. There are excellent restaurants and cafes nearby. I think Nireas offers excellent value for money. Give it a try!
Booked this off the site without any issues. Then follwoed up communication directly with the owner who was both helpful and very patientwith my queries!
Was delighted to be met by Maria (lovely lady) on arrival, despite the plane being delayed and then a (unexpectedly) long bus journey to the venue (I had beleieved I had booked a sole user minibus, but that's another story......)
There had been an apparent mix-up between the site and the owners, but Alexis moved our party into a maisonette at no extra charge. Really spacious, spotlessand well equipped.
The complex is small, and really smart. Everything was clean and well cared for outside and the pool was just lovely.
The bar and reception area were both clean, if a little sparse, a slight shame that the bar was not open in the evening, butthere are many other places to visit within a stone's throw.
All in all, a fantastic base, clean, very friendly hosts and I would most definitely recommend it for anyone.
