Wir haben ein Wellnesswochenende im Resort Maximus verbracht und unsere Erwartungen wurden in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen.

Vom Zimmer über den Spa-Bereich bis hin zum Restaurant und dem gesamten Personal war alles hervorragend. Die teilweise sehr kritischen Bewertungen, die wir vorab gelesen hatten, können wir überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen.

Besonders positiv hervorheben möchten wir, dass der gesamte Wellnessbereich rauchfrei ist. Als Nichtraucher empfinde ich das als großen Vorteil, denn Rauchen und Wellness passen für mich einfach nicht zusammen. Die Philosophie des Resorts hat uns daher sehr angesprochen.

Auch die Gartenanlage ist äußerst gepflegt und liebevoll gestaltet. Im Saunabereich wird darauf geachtet, dass Gäste ein Saunatuch umgelegt haben bzw. bedeckt sind. Das kennen wir so aus Österreich zwar nicht, haben uns aber sehr schnell daran gewöhnt. Die Atmosphäre wirkt dadurch insgesamt deutlich entspannter und angenehmer.

Das Essen war außergewöhnlich gut. Die Speisekarte bietet eine ausgewogene Auswahl an Fleisch-, Fisch- und vegetarischen Gerichten, ohne überladen zu wirken. Qualität, Portionsgröße und Präsentation waren auf höchstem Niveau – jedes Gericht war appetitlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail angerichtet.

Ein besonderes Lob gilt dem Personal, das in allen Bereichen durchgehend freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit war.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das Resort Maximus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Cons:

Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt betrifft die Preisgestaltung des Spa-Bereichs. Bei unserer Buchung über Booking.com war für uns zunächst nicht eindeutig ersichtlich, dass der Wellnessbereich nicht im Zimmerpreis inkludiert ist und separat bezahlt werden muss. Diese Information war zwar in der Beschreibung vorhanden, wurde jedoch eher beiläufig erwähnt. Im ersten Moment hat uns das etwas enttäuscht.
Rückblickend betrachtet relativiert sich dieser Eindruck jedoch, da das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis insgesamt sehr gut ist. Angesichts der hohen Qualität der Anlage, des ausgezeichneten Services und des gesamten Angebots empfinden wir die Gesamtkosten letztlich als angemessen.
