Hotel Francoise

The reception person was not very friendly didn’t give us much information when we checked in , no wifi code nothing about the area.
The beds were VERY HARD, couldn’t get a good night sleep . The shower was tiny.
It was if the beds weren’t rock hard it wouldn’t have been so bad. Overall MEH. Wouldn’t go back.

This is a place to stay.

Clean, great breakfast by the pool. It is a family Hotel so they do everything to make your stay a great one.

Rooms are cleaned every day, the beach is 5 minutes away, bus stop 2 minutes.

They even arranged an early breakfast for me as I was leaving earlier and booked a taxi so that can go to the port on time.

Disaster. Do not stay. Extremely rude woman on reception, stating they do not have a kettle because they are not an apartment and argued continuously and aggressively, when we went to give key back to leave around an hour after arriving. Bugs/Insects in room. Dirty shower tray in an ridiculously tiny old shower. Beds were just wire, we didn't even lay on them as sitting was awful enough. Wardrobe doors didn't close and one was hanging off. Shower door broken. Hair's and marks all over bedding. The pool area/reception look nice and refurbished - but do not make the mistake in judging this hotel on that like we did. The rooms are terrible... unclean, and old.
Not to mention that when ebookers got in contact, they denied all of this (despite us having pictures of everything!), and denied a woman working on reception, and were extremely rude to them aswell.
Pay more and stay down the road.
Completely ruined the first day of our stay in Syros. Not worth the stress and unhappiness, and being spoken to like dirt.

Very nice hotel near a lovely beach. Hotel provided pickup from the port and arranged for a taxi as I had an early ferry to another island. Room was very small. My departure was before scheduled breakfast hours so was provided a boxed meal. This was disappointing.

Very pleased. Hotel Francoise has excellent services including a good breakfast buffet and a swimming pool.

Staff were excellent and very helpful. Swimming pool was great. Also enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fruit and Greek yoghurt. En-suite was a bit small, but then both of us are very tall!

very clean friendly hotel, excellent facilities pool etc and great breakfast good location with steady walk to the restaurant area and beach. Bus around the island just outside the main door.
will be staying again when ever I return to Syros.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The owners and staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is bright, airy and welcoming. The pool was small but perfect, breakfast was fresh and plentiful and the room, whilst quite basic, had French windows creating lovely breeze. I was given advice on where to go and where best to eat, taxis ordered promptly and when friends joined me I was told that my guests were their guests too. A short walk from the hotel was the beach with excellent beachside restaurants and a few nice bars. I definitely hope to return one day.

シロス島はバスの乗り方、運行時間を把握するといろいろなビーチに1、80€でゆく事ができます。ロビーでバスを待ちましょう。朝食付きでWiFi無料でこの価格ならばゆう事ありません。歩いて5分のガリサスビーチも最高です。

C'est la première fois ou j'ai presque honte de ne pas payer plus cher. L’hôtel est très bien, confortable, propre et avec piscine. Les propriétaires sont très accueillant, a l’écoute et serviable. Ils parlaient même français. Les environs sont agréables avec un accès a la plage en 5 min. L’arrêt de bus est juste devant l’hôtel. Le petit déjeuner, offert, est bon et oriente style grecque. Le rapport qualité prix est très bon. Je suis ravi de mon séjour et ce n'est pas souvent.

Trevlig farbror på frukosten, alltid lika glad och serviceinriktad. Rent och fräscht hotell. Några restauranger i närområdet och en fin strand i närheten. Busstop precis utanför hotellet.

Lovely spotlessly clean hotel with friendly staff, close to beach and good restaurants and a brilliant breakfast to start the day.

Pros: nice, clean hotel with friendly service. Parking space, 300m from sea.
Cons: no soundproof rooms, no wi-fi in the room, breakfast buffet of no great quality.

Wonderful stay. My husband and I travelled with our youngest daughter for her 25th birthday. The staff were vey kind and the hotel was beautifully clean and very comfortable. The outdoor breakfast terrace was delightful and breakfast was good with nice selection (especially the Greek yogurt and honey)! One evening we requested Metaxa with coffee by the pool and the owner had run out and went to get some for us! The service was superb and we will definitely go back. The swimming pool was beautifully clean with seating and the outside terrace was candlelit in the evening. It was in a very peaceful location at the back of the resort with just the sound of donkeys and cockerels. All this and only a 5-10 min walk from a fantastic beach. We will definitely be going back (probably most years)! Thank you to the team at Hotel Francoise - what a great find.

Lovely hotel with a very nice pool and wonderful staff. THe breakfast is good with both cooked (suasages, eggs of some sort I had scarmbled or omlette plus a couple of the following tomatoes with feta, spinach pie, cheese pie) plus continental with fruit, cheese, cold meat etc. The only downside for me was that the internet in the area I was in on third floor corner was unusable and I would strongly recommend that if this is important to you that you state this clearly in your booking and do not accept rooms 301 or 302.

Apart from that the hotel was lovely very clean and with a bus stop right outside to take you to the main town. They kindly picked me up off the ferry and I was lucky as they were picking up other guests from the ferry I was taking so I got a lift in too (the cost each way was 5 Euro)
