Our stay at Baglioni Resort Sardinia was an absolute dream.
We had one main goal for this part of our holiday: to completely relax, recharge and enjoy some quality time together as a family. Baglioni truly delivered. We were also blessed with beautiful weather throughout our stay, which made an already incredible experience even better.
The resort itself is beautifully designed and laid out. The three swimming pools are fantastic and cater for different swimming abilities, which was perfect for us travelling with young children. There are plenty of sunbeds surrounding the pools, many with gazebo-style covers that provide shade. We particularly loved the adjustable shade on the sunbeds that could be positioned to keep the sun out of your eyes while still enjoying the beautiful weather.
The pool team were exceptional throughout our stay. They were always attentive, providing fresh towels and complimentary cans of still or sparkling water and making sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive.
One of the biggest highlights is the resort's connection to Lu Impostu Beach, which is easily one of the most beautiful beaches we visited in Sardinia. The water was crystal clear, calm and absolutely stunning. The hotel has its own private beach area with sunbeds, towels and water available throughout the day. Although it's only around a five-minute walk, the hotel also provides a golf cart drop-off and collection service, which was incredibly convenient when travelling with children.
Breakfast was another highlight. There was a great variety of fresh savoury options, breads and spreads, hot food and freshly cooked eggs. More importantly, breakfast never felt rushed. You could sit, relax and enjoy your morning while being genuinely looked after by the team.
A very special mention has to go to Emanuel, who looked after us during breakfast. His level of attentiveness was exceptional.
There was honestly very little we didn't like about our stay. These aren't criticisms of the hotel, but a couple of things we think are worth knowing before you visit.
The main one is location. The beautiful, secluded setting is a big part of what makes Baglioni so relaxing, but it does mean that having a hire car is highly recommended. Taxis aren't particularly easy to access and there isn't much within walking distance of the resort. If you want to explore the surrounding area or head out for dinner, having your own car makes a huge difference.
The other thing to be aware of is the dining. The hotel's restaurant is focused on a high-end fine-dining experience, so if you're simply looking for a casual pizza, traditional pasta or an easy family meal, the options within the resort are quite limited. We found having a car particularly useful for this reason, as it gave us the flexibility to head into nearby towns for more casual dining.
Neither of these things took away from our experience at all, and we would absolutely stay again. They're simply things we think are useful to know when planning your stay, particularly if you're travelling with young children.

Die Lage des Hotels, der Strand (auch eines der wenigen Bereiche wo das Service perfekt funktioniert, genauso wie Luca der mit seinem Golfcar fast 24 h im Einsatz zu sein scheint oder Lory im Restaurant) und das Essen sind traumhaft. Was den den Rest betrifft muss man Kompromisse machen.
Ich kenne das Hotel seit Jahren, aber so schlecht wie heuer war die Situation noch nie. Wenn man als neuer Gast zum ersten Mal in dieses Hotel kommt muss man leider ahnungslos herumirren und hoffen dass einen die Kellner über Möglichkeiten aufklären denn die Reception agiert ausschließlich als Eincheck/Auscheck point und nimmt keinerlei normale Receptionstätigkeiten war, im Gegenteil, sie fühlen sich sogar gestört wenn man mit Fragen auf sie zukommt. Noch schlimmer ist die sogenannte Concierge Laura; unfreundlich, inkorrekt und völlig überfordert. Auch im Restaurant merkt man dass ein paar gute Service Leute nicht alles kompensieren können. Dieses geleistete Service verdient keine 5 Sterne und vor allem auch nicht diesen Preis.

The hotel facilities (bedrooms, pool, restaurants) are amazing, away better then in the pictures. The location is really good, very close to the beach and they have a great beach service, with sun beds and umbrellas.

The room was nice and the beach is beautiful, More or less good choice of cheese at the breakfast (the only good thing about breakfast).
I'm not saying this hotel was bad but it just did not meet our expectations. Comparing with other hotels of the same class we used to stay at - this one is rather boring and lacking character. We stayed for 4 nights. Breakfasts were literally identical every morning. Large pastries as if from any cheap bakery. Hot dishes are at the Premier Inn level. Minimum vegetables. Wasps everywhere. Not a single refill of coffee/tea packs in the room. Only little complimentary bottles of water except for the 1st day. An employee once tried to unlock our room without knocking while we were inside. The staff is just polite, nothing beyond that. To reach the beach you cross a stinky lagoon. The pool, the gym and the kids club are mediocre. Needless to say, no evening entertainment (or at least we got no information) but it's indeed rare in European hotels. Architecture and landscape are mediocre as well. Final touch: at departure they give you a box of chocolates. The size of it makes you think there are a few in the stack. In practice you discover there are just four at the surface, it's simply the thick box. This exactly reflects the 'greediness' of the hotel. Overall, you may find something better for this money.
Relaxed and quiet luxury. A good size (not too big) resort. Staff were wonderful. Upgraded room which was amazing. Shuttle bus regularly down to the beach. Staff service fantastic. Beach beds great. Spa fantastic. Great shop. Great local recommendations. Ample parking. Breakfast great. Food great.
Drinks very expensive. Can be annoying waiting for shuttle bus as common times people want to go down and then waiting in the sun.
