Takis Apartments

Just to give a context: I have booked 5 different hotels in Corfu, including 2 in Sidari. All of them were cheaper. All of them were 100x better. I hate when its hot at night, so before booking I made sure that hotel has AC. I understand its additionally paid. But when I pay extra, I expect it is gna work. It indeed does, but also making noises like on heavy metal concert, so trying to fell asleep with AC on was clearly impossible. I returned the remote following day, telling its making hell noises. Ive been charged only for one night for broken AC. Thanks. But thats just one thing, right? Its not that bad yet! Well, so the next night my partner asked me if we could swype bed, as she thinks, that something is wrong with the mattress. Im not peaky dude so I agreed. To describe how terrible it was, I'll just tell you, that whole sleepless night I was wondering if I should go sleep on sunbeds by the pool. So its mattress with just a springs, AC is not working which forced me to open window, which caused the army of mosquitos attacking me the whole long night. 2 sleepless nights - checked. I asked host for room or mattress change, Ive been given "extra top mattress". It was 3/10 but still better. So the most important thing for hotel on holidays - to let you sleep good was extremely dissapointing. There were also dozen of another little annoying things too: its nice we had hairdryer, but worse, that its not working. Shower was ranomly hot and cold, the bathroom door are broken and opens with no reason. I found it funny that they provide all the kitchen stuff, but not even sponge to clean it. The sheets were prolly great but 15 years ago. Right next to our window was ice cream freezer which also was loud at night. All of that made, that these 5 days were the worst of our 12 days at Corfu. You can get much better, for much less.

Water pump broke one morning but they had an engineer on site to fix it straight away and kept us informed.

Платный кондиционер, а если спать с открытми окнами, то очень много комаров залетает, нужно было закрывать все двери и окна и включать кондиционер. Неудобные кровати, и маленький душ.

The beds, the mattraces are terrible. Should have been changed 10 years ago. The general equipment of the apartment is very dated. Nothing is included, not even the air-conditioning, not even toilet paper or handwash. If I were the management, I would certainly raise the prices a bit and then include all these and some improvements to the equipment because it takes away a lot from the shine of this place. Also, at similar price levels, these amenities are often included or are bettet.

The rooms had air conditioning but this was an extra cost at €16 euros per night! The cost isn’t shown anywhere.
Also be warned - lots of mosquitoes!

Absolutely nothing

The air conditioner would cost 8 euros/per night - really old and was not offered either. There were many mosqouitos at night :( we were not informed that the cleaning lady will come in our room while we were not there (we noticed by the washed glasses)
