Dream lagoon Resort & Aqua Park

We stayed here with friends and had a wonderful holiday. The hotel had plenty of activities organized by the entertainment team every day. A special thanks to the animator Liza, she was incredibly friendly, energetic, and always made us feel welcome. She always kept us informed about the activities and encouraged everyone to join. Her fitness classes were excellent, very enjoyable. She made our stay even more memorable

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel overall. The hotel itself is beautiful, with an incredible garden. It truly feels like a tropical lagoon in the middle of the desert. You can clearly see how much effort the staff put into keeping everything clean and attractive.
We especially enjoyed interacting with the staff at the Coral restaurant. The service there was always friendly and welcoming. We also loved the cozy terrace near the second restaurant, the nice beach, and the clear blue water.
The rooms could use some minor renovation, but they were clean, spacious, and comfortable, so we didn’t have any major complaints.
Most of the food was quite tasty, especially the pasta, ice cream, and some of the meat and fish dishes. However, I would advise guests to be a little careful, as we experienced some digestive issues after eating certain foods.
A special thank you goes to the animation team, especially Liza and Jake. They constantly encouraged us to join different activities and made our stay much more enjoyable. Thanks to them, there was always something fun to do: yoga, stretching, Pilates, water activities, evening shows, discos, competitions, karaoke, and musicals. It was obvious that they genuinely cared about creating a positive atmosphere and helping guests have a great time. They were always friendly, energetic, and a pleasure to talk to.
I would also like to highlight the hotel’s care for animals. One thing that genuinely touched me was seeing water and feeding stations for cats and two dogs placed throughout the property. It was clear that the hotel staff make an effort to ensure the animals have access to fresh water. As an animal lover, I truly appreciated this thoughtful gesture, and it left a very positive impression on me.

Hey there! I am really thankfull about experience which i got there. First are the people, everywhere, in the restaurant, reception, bar, animators. I really enjoy the time with them during small talks everyday. Best regarding to Giada and orhers animators, who was encourage us to do some activities and making pur time much happier. Location is quite calm and the best when you want to relax and rest. Rooms are okay, for me enough, also home keepers are really nice.

Our stay from 23 May to 31 May 2026 was full of problems. In the first room, we had no hot water, the water pressure was extremely weak, and the water often had a yellowish colour. The room was only changed after several complaints and after I informed reception that I had video evidence of the fault. In the second room, the water pressure was still very poor. The safe did not work in either room.

The room was supposed to have a “garden view”, but the view from the window definitely did not match that description. Instead of a well-maintained garden, we saw burnt and dried-out ground, bare soil, and only a few palm trees and bushes. The photo attached to this review shows exactly what the supposed “garden view” really looked like. In a hotel advertised as 5-star, I expected maintained greenery, not neglected and scorched land.

There were no electrical sockets in the bathrooms.

The free Wi-Fi advertised in the offer barely worked. We had to purchase an Airalo eSIM in order to have access to the internet.

The All Inclusive package was very poor: monotonous food, the same soup throughout the entire week, empty food trays, portioning of food, and food being cleared away before the official end of mealtimes. The tables were often dirty, cutlery was missing, and the waiters were not interested in actually serving guests. They were more interested in chatting, complimenting and flirting with guests than asking whether anyone wanted a drink. Flies were everywhere in the restaurants and landed directly on the food.

The meal times did not match the information in the offer. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30 a.m., but in reality it started at 7:00 a.m. Before an early excursion, we arrived to find the restaurant doors closed. Dinner was supposed to be available until 9:30 p.m., but in reality it ended at 9:00 p.m.

On Wakacje.pl, the Fish Restaurant was listed in the All Inclusive section, but at the hotel it turned out to require an additional payment. The two main restaurants were cramped and overcrowded, with not enough seating and frequent shortages of food.

The drinks consisted of alcohol mixed with concentrates, without lemon, mint or ice, and were served in tiny plastic cups.

Sun loungers were reserved with towels as early as before 5:00 a.m. After breakfast, there was no chance of finding a free one. Part of the main swimming pool was closed during the first two days, and the aquapark operated only during short time slots, which was not clearly stated in the offer.

At the beach and around the pools, extremely pushy sellers of various services and products were a major problem. They repeatedly approached the same people, ignored refusals, and even woke guests who were sleeping on sun loungers in order to present another offer. Instead of peaceful relaxation, there was constant harassment and pressure to buy something.

Another major disappointment was the lack of a coral reef near the hotel. Marsa Alam is famous for its reefs and snorkelling, but there is absolutely nothing interesting to see underwater near this hotel. Anyone choosing the hotel specifically because of the reef should be aware of this.

The excursions purchased from the Coral Travel representative were also disappointing. The City Tour consisted mainly of a church, a mosque and three specific shops that appeared to be closely connected with Coral Travel. The safari did not resemble an authentic Bedouin village and was focused on selling oils, perfumes and tea. We were also given a faulty quad bike that kept stalling.

The condition of the camels was very poor. The animals had abrasions, were pushed and kicked in front of tourists. After we raised concerns with the Coral Travel guide, we were told that “this is normal here”, and afterwards we were no longer allowed to take photographs. I refused to ride a camel and I still feel guilty that, by purchasing this excursion, I financially supported an attraction like this.

The VIP cruise: the boat and the food were fine, but a lot of time was wasted waiting and listening to sales presentations. The actual snorkelling lasted approximately 40 minutes in total, at two poor locations. The representative assured us that we would be back in time for dinner, but after the cruise, more than an hour was added for shopping at the port. We did not make it back for dinner.

The only major positive aspect of the hotel is the lagoon and the large area available for walking. Everything else was far below expectations. I have stayed in 5-star hotels in Egypt before and have never encountered such a scale of problems, neglect and disorganisation. I do not recommend either the hotel or the excursions sold by the Coral Travel representative.

The location is really wonderful, long beach with all facilities. Really nice personnel in beach places and reception.

Кстати, на территории есть магазинчики, но мой любимый - тот, что похож на кабинет зельеварения Хогвартса. Доктор Мустафа просканирует ваше энергетическое состояние и, определив проблемные места, подберёт и даже изготовит специально для вас мази, чаи, кремы, масла. Рекомендую познакомиться.

I recently stayed at Dream Lagoon Resort & Aqua Park and left completely enchanted. The resort is set in beautiful surroundings — crystal-clear pools, lush greenery, and scenery that creates a peaceful, almost tropical atmosphere.

This was my third stay at the resort and it remains at an amazing level, which is why I decided to write this review.

What truly elevated our stay was the friendly and attentive staff. Every team member we met was warm and professional, always asking whether guests had everything they needed and gladly accommodating our requests. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the dining offered a varied selection of tasty dishes to suit different tastes.

• Excellent choice for families — many activities and facilities that keep the whole family entertained.

If you are looking for a cheerful, family-oriented resort with lovely surroundings and a team that truly cares about guests (especially Mr. Mousa), Dream Lagoon Resort & Aqua Park is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it.

Hotel garden, beach and sea are absolutely beautiful. The hotel staff members were very friendly, helpful and kind, especialy manager of our pavilion Kimo. The room was clean, but little bit older, but its absolutely adequate. There is a very wide variety of food in the restaurants and every day they have a different theme, although it is a bit different compared to European meals taste.
