Recently stayed at the Seaview Hotel for a joint 50th Birthday celebration with 3 friends. We couldn't fault the hotel and staff. Our rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and fresh towels every day. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious. There was always plenty of choice. Special shout out to our waiter Tony, AKA Tom Jones brother 😁 he definitely made our holiday! From the Scottish Spice Girls
Wow, where do we start.
Amazing hotel. Had an electrical hiccup right at the very start of the holiday, which was dealt with immediately.
Marko that was on duty that evening was very helpful and understanding and he sorted the issue immediately for us. The hotel delivered complimentary cakes and fresh fruit as an apology too which was very kind
The Hotel is in fab location with great sea views
The staff are some of the best we have ever had the pleasure of meeting during a holiday. Nothing was touch trouble for any of them.
Alison from accounts which we met was very friendly and extremely helpful to us when we needed some advice about the hotel facilities and services
The DeeSpa on site is amazing. The ladies that do the treatments are beautiful, kind and very knowledgeable. We had 2 days of treatments during our stay due to bad weather outside. It was Simply wonderful.
The indoor pool is ok, on the small side for the number of guests, but we found it quiet during our stay in March /April.
There is also a lovely sauna and steam room too. All very clean, as is the rest of the hotel.
The buffet breakfast was good, lots of variety of both hot(warm) and cold foods. Only thing was that we found the food temperature to be a little too cool for us, but this is standard we find in most buffets when abroad. It did not spoil our stay or our breakfasts. The food choice and quality was good.
On our departure day, they even arranged a take out breakfast bag for us to take with us to the airport. Free of charge. The bag was full of delicious breakfast items and water
The only thing we had a problem with was the beds. For us they were too hard, but again we appreciate this is a personal preference and would have been ok for other guests. We didn't have much sleep over the 5 nights we were here.
But like I said, everyone has a different choice when it comes to mattresses. The beds were huge though! Perfect for summers night!
The rooms were spacious and clean and well equipped.
The roof infinity pool looked amazing, but due to high winds closed during our stay.
We will definitely choose to stay here again.
Thankyou for looking after us.
Excellent hotel. Great location in the heart of Bugibba overlooking the sea, staff extremely friendly, good bar with happy hour and deals, huge breakfast buffet choice, rooms very clean and well looked after by housekeeping. Overall totally recommend
Lovely week at the Seaview. Great location right on the waterfront. Huge room which was spotlessly clean. Tremendous view of the water from a side sea view room which was lovely to have for the week on the 9th floor, balcony was massive. Food options were great, so much fresh choice each day for breakfast and dinner and local dish options included. Used the indoor pool, jacuzzi and steam room again spotlessly clean and was mostly a very nice quiet calm space. The rooftop pool was too cold (for me) to use in March but the view from up there was incredible.
For getting around the island the bus station is only a short walk from the hotel, I only used the bolt taxi once because the buses were so easy to navigate and so close by.
All the hotel staff were so friendly and very helpful, really a consistently high standard of interactions from everyone who works there. As a solo traveller that made a big difference to a week away. Overall, highly recommended.
We have been here for 4 nights and have enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very nice, right on the sea front, there is a lot of building work going on in the area which is a bit disappointing as makes the area not as nice as it could be. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is very good with a large choice of hot and cold options. The bar area is nice in the evening and really enjoyed the singer. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed is very large which is nice however it was extremely uncomfortable and I did not have a good nights sleep on any of the nights here, this is the reason for dropping a star in my opinion. The shower was spacious and good pressure and always hot, however it would be nice if the towels were a bit bigger as they just about went round us. We visited Valleta, Sliema, Medina while we were here and I would recommend all of them. We got the bus the first day to Valleta, from the bus terminal just up the road, which is handy to be the first stop as the busses get very busy. The journey took 1 & 1/2 hours as the bus stops frequently, we got a different bus home thinking it was a shorter route but unfortunately not, we therefore used taxi’s after this as they only took 20-30 mins to get to where we wanted to go. The buses are 2 euros each and the taxi ranged from 12-18 euros. The weather has been very unsettled whilst we have been here which is obviously no one’s fault but it does make a difference to the trip. This is a lovely island and worth a visit but I would do your research if what is around your chosen area to do. St Paul’s bay is nice but not much to do although there are a number of bars and restaurants however if you want somewhere with a bit more to do I would stay in Sliema.
Just returned from a week at this lovely hotel. Rooms are a really good size and well equipped. Breakfast was really good, and there are two restaurants accessible from the hotel - Wagamama and Chatterbox. The beautiful Mediterranean is right across the street. Location is excellent, with the national aquarium, classic car museum, chocolate factory and bus station all within walking distance. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back!
The hotel is lovely. The rooms are large and very clean. The staff are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is good with cold and hot options. Donna, one of the waitresses was very helpful and gave us recommendations for places to visit.
Location is also great as the bus terminal isn't far and there are buses frequently all costing €2 in low season and €2.50 in high season.
Great hotel nicely situated in Bugibba on the promenade. Adults only which was quite nice and quiet. ( love children btw). Spacious rooms, huge bed ! All rooms have either a direct or side sea view. Very ,very clean and smells gorgeous . Drinks well priced and happy hour is great value. Bathroom also large and fabulous shower. Room service was every day but the bed sheets weren't changed in 7 nights . Large balcony ,tv, kettle, tea/ coffee/ milk was a huge bonus and topped up every day. The breakfast and evening meal was really lovely, good for meat eaters and vegetarians. We used the indoor swimming pool and spa, which was good value for money. 4 lifts which made entering and exiting the hotel fairly quick. English was widely spoken. It is well situated to catch the " hop on ,hop off bus" which stops right outside the hotel . We were on an organised tour with Newmarket holidays and would definitely recommend it for your first time on the island ,as we visited ALL major sights of interest, including a ferry to Gozo. March weather was perfect for us. Daytime 15 to 17 degrees and just a jacket for night time. People are very kind and helpful. The hotel reception always smiling and welcoming .
I would recommend this hotel for its location, cleanliness, friendly and good facilities
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the hotel could not do enough for us. The staff are exemplary they cannot do enough gor you. Special mention to the staff in the kitchen Aky the sous chef went above and beyond to accommodate a fussy eater. Great location lovely infinity pool Great food we have absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel. Fabulous.
Our side sea view room on the 5th floor was spacious with plenty of storage space. The bed was comfortable and the WiFi excellent. The room was quiet apart from a little road noise and the odd guests who don't know how to shut doors quietly. The staff are very helpful and informative and always pleasant and eager to help. The hotel is always kept clean.
The bathroom was large with toiletries supplied and had a good sized walk in shower. The water was always hot, with good pressure.
We were on bed and breakfast and found there was a good and varied selection to suit most tastes with food being replenished regularly. The orange juice was very watery and the multi vitamin drink very bright and without flavour.
We had one dinner in the restaurant which is a buffet the same as breakfast. The food was average in our opinion but still with a lot of choice. There is a small bar serving cocktails and other drinks.
There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance.
There is a lot of building and regeneration work going on in the area. Turning left out of the hotel the town and surrounding streets are one big building site and not very nice on the eye with uneven pavements.
We hired a car and getting around the island is very easy except when visiting Valletta. Parking is a nightmare and I would recommend catching the bus. There is ample parking at the hotels underground car park.
We enjoyed our stay at Seaview and would recommend this hotel for those seeking a nice quiet adults only hotel with good facilities.
We enjoyed Malta and visited many areas including Gozo and historical sites and would consider returning once the building works are finished.
Short break with friends in mid March.
Modern hotel, with everything you need right on the promenade and a great base to go exploring.
Spotlessly clean and all staff very friendly and helpful.
Rooms had everything you needed and were reasonably well appointed. Coffee making facilities and ironing board provided. Walk in shower. The only issue was the hot water pressure, which in our room was very poor. Reported with slight improvement but not very good at all.
Food, buffet style. Sufficient choice and cooked well.
Pleasant bar area serving wide choice of cocktails and happy hour.
Rooftop pool with scenic views of bay. Interior pool in basement functional. Two small treatment rooms and one small toilet/changing room. Massage was good quality, €150 for couple.
Overall, excellent base and very comfortable for our 5 day break. If you were staying longer perhaps look for a larger hotel with better pool etc.
Would certainly return.
Top tip...use Uber, it was absolutely brilliant. Always had an XL one for our party and never waited more than 5 minutes...often less then 2. Medina was only €8, Valletta €14 and Mosta €7. Door to door and no crowded buses which took considerably longer.
Came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel is very relaxing buffet food and all the staff genuinely friendly. We arrived back from our day out for me to find a bouquet of roses off my husband that he had arranged with the reception staff but the hotel had added a bit extra with a lovely little cake for us to share & a bottle of wine. Having had our Honeymoon in Malta 45 years earlier definitely cemented our special day. We swam in the pool downstairs as the infinity pool upstairs was cold at this time of year. But the 10th floor we enjoyed sitting and relaxing by this pool as they have sun beds out. The hotel is clean different choices on the buffet every day. They seem to cater for all tastes
We spent a wonderful week in Malta staying at the Seaview Hotel Malta. The hotel is perfectly situated in a well-connected part of Bugibba, making it very easy to reach popular spots across the island by bus. It’s a new, intimate, adults-only property with aesthetic interiors and a truly welcoming staff.
Here are the hotel’s best highlights:
FOOD: The ingredients are exceptionally fresh. While the base menu is consistent, the breakfast and dinner options vary daily with a wide selection that offers something for everyone. They serve delicious pasta, meat dishes, vegetarian options, and cakes. For breakfast, you can enjoy bean-to-cup coffee, tea, fresh juices, smoothies, yogurts, cold cuts, cheeses, various breads, vegetables, salads, omelets, pancakes, and even churros. Dinner includes water, with alcohol and coffee available for an extra charge.
STAFF: The hotel team is incredibly friendly, always smiling, and helpful. Everyone speaks fluent English.
SPA & WELLNESS: Access to the outdoor and indoor pools, gym, and saunas (both dry and steam) is included. The large, clean outdoor infinity pool offers a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean. It has cool water, which is surely refreshing during the peak season. The indoor pool is heated, cozy, and features a jacuzzi. The saunas are very pleasant (swimsuits and towels required). You can borrow towels for free at the reception using paper tokens. The gym is well-equipped for training arms, chest, and glutes, with treadmills, spinning bikes, and yoga mats available. There are also free weights, towels, a drink dispenser, and the space has a clean, neutral scent.
ROOM: Large, clean, and bright. The bed is very big with medium-to-firm mattresses, and the wardrobes are spacious. Amenities include a large TV and a coffee/tea set (Nescafé, tea, sugar, spoons, and a 1-liter kettle).
BATHROOM: Features a large, clean shower with both a regular head and a rainfall head, with stable water temperature. A set of body lotion and conditioner is provided, along with high-quality, clean white towels.
THE SUNSET LOUNGE: A very aesthetic space where you can meet other guests, have a drink or coffee, enjoy some cake, or read a book. Several times a week, they host musical evenings with a live jazz singer.
The hotel allowed us to fully recharge and focus on relaxation. The food was so impressive that we didn't feel the need to eat out. We used the pool, sauna, and gym daily. The property is quiet, well-maintained, and modern, with fast and always-available elevators. Nearby, there is a large grocery store and numerous bus stops with direct connections to Valletta, Golden Bay, Popeye Village, and the Airport. The sea view from the 10th floor is simply stunning—it's truly one of the few hotels with such an incredible advantage.
We enjoyed our stay here and would happily return. From the initial welcome at Reception to the checkout, staff were friendly, courteous and keen to do everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our room (820) had a great sea view, was well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, table and chairs, and the bed was huge! Food was good quality and plentiful. The indoor pool with jacuzzi bubbles was ideal for this slightly chilly time of year, but the infinity pool on the roof would be lovely in the summer.
Seaview Hotel is a beautiful hotel in a perfect spot for walking the promenade, walking to the bus terminus(to explore the island). It has a relaxed atmosphere in the hotel, the rooms are spotless and the staff are very helpful(special mention for Eduardo on reception and Donna in the restaurant) The breakfast buffet was spot on with a great selection and you can relax and eat with super views over the bay.
Lovely hotel and fantastic customer service
Seaview room .. only if leaning over balcony .. . Lumpy pillows . Poor breakfast raw eggs . Salmon with a bitter taste . Hot food only lukewarm . Very noisy at night heard every door open and close and people walking around .. lifts kept going out of service not very good when there is no stairs to take !
Swimming pool edging black with mold . All windows filthy need cleaning . For a four star very poor . Never should have this rating .
We were made to feel so special throughout our stay celebrating our 40th Anniversary.Staff were amazing and so friendly and looking for every opportunity to enhance your stay.
Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Malta
My husband booked this hotel last minute for my birthday. We had looked at St Julians and other areas but felt somewhere quieter would be better, and this hotel had great reviews. The staff were all friendly on check-in. Originally, we had booked a room with a town view, and my husband asked if there were any upgrades. We paid to upgrade to a room with partial sea view. Our room was on a corner on floor 9, and we had a large wrap around balcony with town and sea views. To be honest, it's worth paying for a sea view room as the town views are not the best. There is a "cooler" in the room, but it is not a fridge. It doesn't make anything cold but stops things from getting too warm. The water we put in it was only ever tepid. A fridge would be so much better. Tea and coffee were always topped up, and there was a free safe. We had plenty of hot water for showers, but the cubicle leaked terribly, and the floor was always flooded afterwards. The shower towels were quite small, and different cover much! We were b&b, and there was plenty of choice for breakfast. However, the hot food was barely warm. We didn't bother with hot food the rest of our stay and chose cereals, rolls, toast, and pastries.
There are plenty of good restaurants in the area, including one each side of the hotel that can be accessed internally beyond the lifts. On arrival at the hotel we were given discount leaflets to these so on our last evening we did go to Chatterbox and had some lovely food.
As already mentioned by others, the hotel is in a great location, and in the summer, the rooftop pool and bar would be lovely. It's a 15 minute uphill walk to the bus station. You can get buses to Valletta, Mosta Dome and many other places for a good price. There is a large Welbee's supermarket a 10 minute walk away for snacks and water, etc.
It was my birthday whilst away and when we returned to our room, there was a bottle of wine, a card signed by some staff and a yummy slice of chocolate cake waiting for us. This was a lovely touch.
We had a lovely 4 day stay and would be happy to stay at the Seaview Hotel again
The hotel has a prime position on the seafront. As soon as we stepped through the revolving day on day 1 of our 3 week stay we were met at reception by smiling, friendly and professional staff who checked us in quickly and explained about the room and all the hotel facilities. The staff at this hotel are without exception the best I have come across in any hotel around the world and I have been lucky enough to travel to some amazing places. A special mention to Donna at breakfast who was caring and concerned when I didn't attend breakfast one day and who made us smile whenever she was on duty to the bar staff who looked after us so well and treat us like old friends . The housekeeping team who serviced the rooms to a high standard and nothing was too much trouble . The food is of excellent quality and something to suit all nationalities everyday. Security is a high priority with a key card just to use the lifts so you always feel safe . We had a room at the back ( room 606) and we could still see the sea. The room is large and equipped with absolutely everything you need for your stay . I like a balcony and believe me what a balcony we had ,it was huge ! We did spend time on it when the weather allowed. It is not a faceless hotel chain but one where management are present and regularly seen chatting to guests to make sure they are alright and discuss any possible issues. You are doing everything right Seaview hotel and thank-you for a wonderful stay
