Ballyseede Castle

We loved this stay and felt like we got a great deal. We stayed in the lodge next to the castle. Clean and comfy. The setting, the breakfast and dogs were A+.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Schlosshotel. Man fühlt sich ein bisschen an Bridgerton erinnert. Auf dem Anwesen befinden sich zwei irische Wolfshunde, die es lieben, von den Gästen gekrault zu werden. Unser Highlight war aber Joseph. Er hat uns einige gute Tipps für die Entdeckungen in der Region gegeben. Ohne Ihn hätten wir die Perlen wahrscheinlich nicht entdeckt.

Een echte kasteel ervaring

We had a wonderful stay! The room was beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff were incredibly attentive, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with a charming and special atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our experience and would definitely come back!

Beautiful location, grounds are lovely

Amazing property! We stayed at the Lodge and the room was beautiful. The dinner and breakfast were also exceptional. Even though we stayed in The Lodge (about a 5 minute walk from the castle), we still were able to enjoy the sitting rooms in the main castle.

Ein Hotel, für das mir eigentlich die Worte fehlen

Ich war aus beruflichen und privaten Gründen in sehr vielen Hotels auf der Welt, darunter zahlreiche bekannte Markenhotels. Normalerweise finde ich eigentlich immer irgendeinen Punkt, bei dem ich sage: Das könnte man noch besser machen.

Beim Ballyseede Castle fällt mir das verdammt schwer.

Für mich ist dieses Haus eines der inspirierendsten Hotels, in denen ich jemals übernachtet habe. Und das liegt nicht nur an unserer grossartigen Suite mit der freistehenden Badewanne. Es ist das gesamte Erlebnis. Das Schloss, seine Geschichte, die Atmosphäre, die Zimmer, das Gelände, die Menschen und dieses besondere Gefühl, das man nicht mit Sternen, Checklisten oder irgendwelchen Markenstandards erschaffen kann.

Hier stimmt für mich einfach das Ganze. Man kommt an und merkt sehr schnell, dass man nicht einfach nur in einem Hotel übernachtet. Man erlebt einen besonderen Ort.

Tatsächlich ist Ballyseede Castle einer dieser wenigen Plätze, bei denen ich mir während meines Aufenthalts gedacht habe: Hier würde ich sogar selbst einmal heiraten wollen. Mehr Kompliment kann ich einem Hotel eigentlich kaum machen.

Es fehlt einem an nichts. Auch das Frühstückskonzept finde ich hervorragend und absolut passend zum Haus. Wenn ich überhaupt einen Verbesserungsvorschlag nennen müsste, dann wäre es, Espresso und Cappuccino beim Frühstück kostenfrei anzubieten. Gerade europäische Gäste erwarten bei einem inkludierten Frühstück häufig, dass solche Kaffeespezialitäten ebenfalls dazugehören. Aus meiner Sicht als Hotelier würde ich lieber den Zimmerpreis um zehn Euro erhöhen und diese Getränke inkludieren, anstatt sie separat zu berechnen. Eine solche Kleinigkeit kann unnötig für Unmut sorgen, obwohl das gesamte Erlebnis ansonsten aussergewöhnlich ist.

Und das sagt eigentlich schon alles: Mein einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag ist ein kostenfreier Cappuccino.

The property and Castle were beautiful!

This hotel was amazing. The staff was so helpful and talked to us for 10 minutes about all the different food options and things to see around the property.

The environment was amazing! It felt like a castle fairytale. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing. Service was amazing. They gave us recommendations for around town. The room was better than I had anticipated with a bathtub in the middle which made me feel like a princess.

Everything! Beautiful grounds and facilities. Lovely sculptures on the lawns and paths. Exquisite furnishings.

We loved our room in the lodge. Dinner was delightful and we enjoyed breakfast especially after being escorted by three dogs, it was the highlight for us. Would have loved to have stayed longer.

Bellissimo, anche da visitare. Canere spaziose. Noi siamo stati nella dependance che ha un suo parcheggio privato. Colazione ottima.
