An oasis of beauty, charm and traquility
All good
Amazing place. So iconic and enjoyable ! Magnificent gardens!
This is a beautiful hotel built in egyptian style in a quiet rural location. It has a tennis court and fabulous swimming pool and one can go riding or borrow bikes to explore the area. There is a small farm adjacent with friendly staff who will introduce you to various fowl, cattle and goats (all kept in excellent conditions) and also a papyrus workshop and pottery.
The whole experience was superb and I would love to visit again if ever in Luxor.
Nothing - it was amazing!
Everything
I stay 3 nights at Al Moudira, just to relax. This is my 2nd time at Al Moudira. The hotel is beautiful and quiet surrounded by rice fields, away from tourist crowds. I love the country road that leads to the hotel.
The large hotel ground has lots of quiet places to sit, read, relax, walk with the addition of a farm which did not exist before. The baby goats and ducks are so cute. The pool area is very nice. Out of the 3 restaurants, I like the food at the Ottoman Hall the most. The staffs of the Ottoman Hall restaurant are the most cheerful. The service at the farm restaurant is a little bit slow. Breakfast is good.
The hotel can book tours and excursions.
Staff members at the front desk are not very smiley compared to the ones from other high end hotels in Egypt.
Stunning architecture. The bedroom and bathroom were exquisite with hand painted walls and detailing.
Magnifique hôtel
personnel adorable
Restaurant de la ferme délicieux
Très bon petit déjeuner
Très belle piscine
Jardins splendides
The property itself is the destination, with a lovely courtyard setting, amid beautiful gardens. Faultless service, nice big pool and several very good food options.
The place in itself is pricy, and everything else comes extra and is costing top dollars in addition. for this level of hotel, it would be nice to offer some fresh fruits in the room and provide a bit more context on arrival in terms of surroundings, tour options, wellness etc.
Wunderbare Hotelanlage wie in 1001er Nacht.
This hotel has a little of everything. The pool was relaxing, the food at every restaurant was delicious and so fresh and the room was a little piece of heaven. It did not feel like you were in a busy city.
Honestly, not a lot. The staff did a fantastic job of maintaining their professionalism and care through Ramadan. The only downside is it is a little out of the way, but that made it more peaceful.
The best hotel so far I like
The hotel is an oasis in Luxor. Far away of the city, perfect for a couple of days after the caos of Cairo. The architecture is a must. The rooms well decorated, natural lights in the morning. Breakfast well served, lots of options. The farm restaurant deserves more than one visit. Swimming pool environment perfect. Gym quite complete. Dinner and appetizers in the hotel surrounded by good taste.
I did not like the check in and check out. In the check in, they keep saying that you are upgraded to a much better room (I think they expect a tip for that), which is not that true. By the check out, it was a mess, quite rude I would say.
