Perfect, relaxing stay.
Pros:

Ocean Escape was the most perfect stay. Could not have asked for more. Great setting, facilities, staff and location. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful location and accommodation was outstanding. Staff and owners were fantastic. Loved it.
Pros:

Breakfast was lovely just thought it was every day but was every third day. Staff did top it up on day 2 which was really nice.

Cons:

Friendly staff and fantastic facility and location.
Would defend return here.

love the pool
Pros:

The sound of waves was amazing to drift off to sleep to. The pool is lovely . The cocktails stunning . The beach area a real treat to sit and watch the sea

Cons:

Bins were only emptied every three days . We had to prompt to get the room serviced on day four after requesting a room service on day three and getting told we only service every 3 days . I was told “we are eco friendly” however I stay at a lot of eco friendly places .Normally you don’t get clean towels but bins should be emptied especially when it’s self catering which this resort is. The staff were all lovely when I asked and I guess just doing what they were told . We were surprised because it wasn’t a cheap place to stay so we expected more.

Excellent facilities, very clean and with everything you needed. Wonderful friendly staff were nothing was a problem. Loved BJ's Tapas bar and the spa treatments. Quiet location. Highly recommend.

Clean and modern but bedroom is up a staircase
Pros:

Breakfast already stocked in the pantry for the entire stay, including mimosas! Great idea. Loved it. Impeccably clean room, modern decor, private alcove, unique ocean water pool.

Cons:

Beautifully appointed bedroom. But surprise! It is UPSTAIRS. and that was the only thing up there, the beautiful bedroom. Bathroom needs? Go downstairs. Want something from your suitcase? Go downstairs because most likely you didn’t heave it up the 15 narrow steps to the bedroom and anyway there’s no space for it up there. Bad knee, back, hip? Sleep on the couch downstairs. Whilst we think it was nicely decorated, we’d rather have the accommodation all on one level.

I would return in the blink of an eye Ocean Escape ticked all my boxes.
Pros:

I booked through booking.com but they still gave me the welcome package - well done and I was impressed. Love that the owner is on site and is in the bar every night for a korero.
