I loved my stay. The staff were very friendly, my room was so comfortable, and the amount of history presented was incredible. The ac did leak, leading to a wet floor and chipped paint. Because of the area, the entrance door is locked at night, but staff will open asap. Plus they have a mini breakfast station which was very nice. Will most likely stay here again if needed. The decorations were so beautiful, my favorite was the piano + clarinet.

Please take this review serious, and DO NOT STAY at this hotel. I went there and there was lizard in the room. They gave me another room, there was a lizard too and both rooms were smelling TERRIBLE. It was the DIRTIEST hotel I’ve ever seen. I asked for a refund because me and my mother didn’t want to sleep with lizards. They told me that it was okay and I had to talk to expedia for it. Then Expedia asked them for a cancelation and refund. I sent them the photo of a lizard in the room as a proof BUT THE HOTEL DIDN’T ACCEPT TO REFUND ME. I PAID 330$ FOR NOTHING. I’ve stayed in many different hotels all around the world and it was worst experience of all time. I hope this hotel will get no customers in the future get what they deserve.
My stay was okay, at check in I had a room booked. The check in that they have on their Expedia says 3pm but my room wasn’t ready even past 4. When I checked in a gentleman by the name of Bryan told me my room is set, it was roughly 3:57-3:58 before entering I asked everything should be ready and set he told me yes, as I walk into the room a couple was in my room that was supposed to be ready by 3 mind you and the girl inside, and her boyfriend told me they had late check out. I was not made aware of that and very unhappy with this cause I didn’t want to walk into a cisgender heterosexual couple doing their hair mind you this was 4pm. when I return to the front desk Bryan tells me that no they do not have late check out they didn’t have permission for that. At this point I was very let down from the first impression, I had nothing to do with this miscommunication. Anyways so I asked the front desk is there any other rooms available for me to check into as I have to go to work at 4:30 ? I was running tight on time and the man says no that’s your room they’ll be out soon and it will be clean for you when you get back from work. Anyways it was not a good first impression lots of miscommunication between front desk and customers. Then also the sheets were stained everything smelled the property needs renovation and remodeling. The continental breakfast is lacking it’s not continental only dried out granola bars powdered sugar donuts, and fruits.
I was disappointed by the lack of communication. The two ladies at front desk were sweet but there was some interactions with a man I think his name was Delvin if not mistaken, he needs to work on his customer service skills, and effective verbiage on communicating effectively. When I was waiting to get my new room I asked if it would be ready by 3 this time. He said to me if you hear the words coming out of my mouth you will know that your room should be ready before 4 because I had a past encounter where the room wasn’t ready even at 4 I wanted to make sure this wouldn’t repeat. Everything was communicated ineffectively he told me that the room would be ready before 4 which was great but I asked him as for my stuff do I leave it in the old room & stay with it? he told me that’s fine that they would move my bags to the new room. And behold when I go to the new room which was ready before 3 which I did appreciate the bags weren’t there. So when I asked the lady at the front desk if my stuff was going to be moved like Delvin said. It wasn’t it was still in the old room which was still dirty past 3 pm and delvin told me they would move my stuff. anyways I went with the lady to go pick up my stuff and move it to my new room, which was nice of her to help however if you can not move my bags for me to the new room don’t say you will and make empty promises. I stayed there for less than 2 days and saw so many errors & miscommunication room for improvement.

Terrible area, didn’t feel car was safe in municipal lot. Had to walk far with bags. I reserved a double room and got a single. Bathroom wasn’t finished. Electrical outdated. Very small tv on side wall, couldn’t see from bed. Roku tv with few channels. No amenities, not even soap or tissues. Cute little place for reasonable price, but overall disappointed. I would never stay here again.

The room they originally put us in had no television working and has ants It also was by a little park filled with roosters who were super noisy.The walls were so thin that you could hear everything happening in the other rooms. It was like the people were actually in the room with you. The staff were super friendly but they locked up the place at night time because they went to sleep

I stayed for one night , a lady named ( tonie) was very sweet in nice she’s a good reason to come back to the hotel by its self no problem at check in . Everyone also had a good vibe.
Hotel very historic, cultural, inspiring, educational. Was a new experience for me. Owner very personable, and attentive to your needs
Tv didn’t work. Staff did offer us to move to anew room but i declined.
