Pros:

The reception staff were all very nice especially Gaby! But it was the best Viajero check in experience I’ve had and the facilities were very good

Great fun with amazing location and clean stay
Pros:

Really great location and the staff were super helpful, especially when we ended up arriving early and had to book an additional night of accommodation last minute !

The rooftop is great and the area is amazing for food and drinks.

Cons:

The breakfast and coffee isn’t the best, would opt to go to the local cafes instead.

Tuve q cancelarla me retire porq encontré a una persona en mi cama , me dieron otra que estaba sucia, me queje y supuestamente cambiaron las sábanas pero pusieron otras sábanas sucias estaban oliendo a sudor y encima llena de cabellos. Totalmente antihigienico

Good location, poor customer service

I’ve stayed at 6 Viajeros across South America and the staff here were by far the unfriendliest and the most unhelpful. No care for customer service, just focused on getting as much money from the guests as possible. Every Viajero meet and greet is always led by a member of staff who encourages the group with introductions and some fun facts. Here I was directed to the bar and left to sit alone (in full view of the staff by the way) I’ve also yet to stay at another Viajero that charges you to play beer pong) The rooftop was nice but the evenings seem more catered to the enjoyment of locals rather than the guests. Most social nights revolve around a bar crawl so if that’s not your vibe there’s not a lot of social things for you. The kitchen is also very poorly stocked. There’s a dozen odd pot lids but 1 frying pan for the whole hostel and no helpful utensils like a spatula. Would recommend coming for an evening drink but there are far better hostels in the area especially if you’re looking for safety. No locked doors and no checking of wristbands means one of my roommates was able to sneak in to the rooms someone who wasn’t staying there

Great experience overall — fun atmosphere, friendly people, and a place I’d stay again.

Great social atmosphere and an easy place to meet people — the rooftop area and common spaces really stood out. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location made it convenient to explore Medellín. Overall the vibe was energetic and welcoming, especially for a short stay.

Cons:

Honestly nothing comes to mind — everything met or exceeded my expectations for a hostel stay.

Great social hostel in Medellin
Pros:

The hostel is a great place to meet other travelers. The private room I had was great. The bed was comfy and the shower was great. Within walking distance of the hostel are many great restaurants.

Cons:

The hostel can be quite noisy. It didn’t bother me so much, but if you’re a light sleeper it may be a problem.
