Great location, super comfy bed. Excellent value for money
Very clean and incredibly comfy bed!
It was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. It was very convenient to walk to anything in Christchurch Central. There were lots of excellent restaurants close by.
Our room had no outlook.
The crockery was stored so high it could not be reached by anyone of moderate stature.
Parking was a potential issue. 3 parks are provided at the back of the property on a first come first served basis. One is designated for the handicapped, though it is not clear how strongly enforced this is. It is suggested that free street parking is locally available if these 3 parks are full. My assessment was that depending that free street parking would be available was risky. On the side of the road on which the property is, the parking limit was for 2 hours Monday to Friday. On the other side of the road there is no apparent restriction however there is a busy building site. All parks on that side of the road during the day on the two weekdays and Saturday morning we were there were filled by workers on the building site. The building being built looks to be a multi residential complex. I would imagine when completed this will significantly increase competition for these free car parks. In the event The Parque did not appear to be very full when we were there and we managed to use one of the private parks provided without issue.
Quiet, comfortable, squeaky clean, great location with restaurants and cafes close by and close to city centre.
The windows are high up on the wall and narrow which gave the room a bit of a box feel. Would prefer a room with bigger windows.
