The hotel is beautiful. The room we got was huge corner located, we love it. An amazing view to great part of the city. Breakfast was very good and varied. The location of the hotel is excellent, walking distance to most of the downtown interest sites.
Definitely a hotel we want to come back. 100% recommend.
Location handy for Grandi
Room noisy - some sort of boiler rumbled through the wall most of the night and rain gutters outside or above my window unusually promoted the sound of loud splashing. I couldn't figure out how it was happening.
Grandi by Center Hotels is a comfortable and welcoming hotel when visiting Reykjavik. It is conveniently located near the old harbor, the whale watching excursions, the lava experience, and other family-friendly sites. The hotel is also within walking distance of restaurants and all the attractions in the city’s center. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful; the buffet breakfast included with the cost of the room was ample. The hotel has a great bar, a restaurant, and a spa. It was a fantastic and affordable place to stay and is our go-to hotel when in Reykjavik. Enjoy!
Stylish decor. Really friendly staff. Located in the harbour district about 5 mins from a bus stop and some food places. About 10-15 min walk from central plaza. Breakfast was great.
Only minor complaint, the room was actually a little hot and the window latch was a little confusing.
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a quiet area, a 20 minute walk to downtown. The best thing about this hotel is the restaurant and coffee shop.
The rooms need some renovation.

La spa è solo a pagamento, ma non è specificato nella descrizione di Booking. La stanza non è stata fatta fino alle 15:00, abbiamo dovuto chiederlo due volte. La colazione è di bassa qualità, disordinata e senza etichette che spiegano i cibi. C’era molta gente e i tavoli per la colazione erano sporchi e pieni di piatti, mancavano le uova, l’acqua e altre pietanze per cui abbiamo dovuto aspettare, anche se eravamo di fretta per la partenza. La posizione è troppo distante dalle maggiori attrazioni. Letti molto piccoli. Abbiamo avuto una esperienza che valeva la metà di quello che abbiamo pagato.
Breakfast was excellent and very extensive. We paid extra for barista coffee which was the best we had in Reykjavik.
The room was comfortable with an excellent bathroom/shower. The blinds were good blackout fabric necessary in the summer when it doesn't get dark. Paid parking was easy in the street nearby using the Parka app. It wasn't too expensive. A little bit out of the city centre but an easy 15 min walk through a lovely old part of town to the main city and restaurants.

If you like the marina area location like I do, this is a great hotel. It was nicely kept and well appointed. The on site restaurant is also quite good; char and lamb dishes were excellent. Nice little bar to hang out at too. Easy tour pick up point nearby.
The breakfast was good, but the setup made buffet access seem quite chaotic.

I am very pleased that I picked this hotel. It has an excellent location as it is close to the harbour, several attractions, restaurants and bus stop 17 for tours. It is walking distance to the centre but away from any noise.
The rooms were good. There were a few small issues that were quickly resolved by the staff, who were excellent. We dined one evening in the restaurant and the lamb meal I had was a highlight of the trip. There is a discount for hotel guests too.
Something I hadn’t experienced before was the at the tv was set with a range of tv channels from the UK which was good.
