The Del Mar is in a superb location - very central yet quiet as it is set back from the strip. The whole complex is spotless. The rooms are modern, very well equipped with air con included.

The staff were so friendly and the room cleaner was in everyday any problem you had she would resolve .also the hotel owns the supermarket a stone throw away it has everything and again staff were friendly and finally we had a late departure so arranged for room to be kept it was no problem and a good price wel, done to all
The location was perfect, just across the road was a walkway to the beach. Supermarket at the entrance to the apartments. Good size pool, room size was excellent with all the facilities that anyone could want. We were pleased to find a bottle of wine on our little dining table with a plate of fruit, toilet rolls always being replaced, washing up liquid & handwash supplied. Rooms refreshed daily (bins emptied & floors mopped). Bed was very big & comfortable. Barman in the 2nd week (no one in the 1st week) was great (made wicked cocktails!), cleaning lady worked very hard. Was lovely & quiet & would definitely come back.
Some attention to details concerning cleanliness of the pool as there was quite a dark sticky mark around, above the waterline. At the end of the season could do with a good scrub.

De gastvrijheid van de medewerkers en dat er een supermarkt grenst aan het appartementencomplex die ook van Del Mar is, is echt top. Hier kun je alles halen wat je nodig hebt. Hiernaast zit je nog geen 50 meter van het strand vandaan. In de nacht heb je weinig tot geen last van lawaai van de omliggende kroegen omdat het tussen wat gebouwen ligt. De locatie was perfect omdat je lopend (40 min) naar Malia kunt en met de taxi/bus (8 min) naar Chersonnisos kunt.
Doordat we in het oude gedeelte van de appartementen zaten waren sommige dingen gedateerd. Dit hadden we ook wel verwacht, echter in het appartement waren meerdere spotjes/lampen die het niet deden of knipperden. Hiernaast kon de deksel van de wc niet zelfstandig overeind blijven staan. Hierdoor heb ik me wel een echte Griekse schildpad gevoeld als ik gebruik van het toilet moest maken.
Amazing location and it’s lovely and quiet considering it’s located just off of the strip. Very modern and spacious rooms and it has a lovely pool area, with all the amenities you’d need!
The bar was only open twice in the week we stayed which was a shame as it felt a bit lifeless, no music or anything playing by the pool. But menus on display with a good selection. Maybe the hotel should employ a permanent member of bar staff.
Big room, with everything in need for a long stay. The pool was nice and the water was warm, even in windy days. Location close to the beach and restaurants/shops

Apartment was well set out and all the facilities were fine
We found that the beds were very uncomfortable which did give us both backache each morning
