The apartment was moldy, there was mold all over.
i stayed for several months here 3 years ago so that good experience was replicated on current stay. location is excellent for lima metro and barranco, staff at location (security, housekeeping) is warm, friendly and quite accomodating -- and customer service managing the property (wynwood) is incredibly responsive.
i saw some earlier comments regarding quality of staff. i have no idea wherein that might have been the case. everyone again on and off property is exceptional.
Location, apartment and price are a good value for exploring barranco.

This place is a complete ripp off!
I made a reservation for this property for one night at a price of $21.28. This was the price I agreed to when I accepted the non-refundable booking. I arrived at the property around 11:30 and was told to come back at 3:00 PM. I waited with all my property and returned at 3:OO PM. Then the man said I had to pay 45.00 to enter the room. I asked the man if he was cancelling the booking I made, and he spoke, "NO" and that I had already been charged the $21.28 because I cannot cancel, but that I cannot enter the property until I agreed to pay the double the price I originally agreed to. I left and slept on the streets for the night. Luckly, I did not get robbed of my laptop and money during the night.
Booking.com then charged me for the price I did not agree to. I do not know if I can trust booking.com anymore if they will do business with this kind of host.
Quiete and clean in a good area.
The floors need to be replaced. The flooring material is old and worn out.
The location
Shower glass didn’t close and the floor gets really wet.
They charge extra $25 to replace some towels and toilet paper. They would charge an extra day if you wanted a late check out. Next door neighbors party almost everyday.
Location and safety of building and the room.
The little pool, could hardly fit 4 to 5 people standing. The gym is by the covered parking lot. Hard to avoid, exhust fumes while in the gym. The wifi in the room kept breaking down, had to go down to use the reception area. One staff was not helpful and was too strict about simple things like leaving luggage for few hours after check out.
This is the first time I've written a review on Expedia, but felt inclined to warn others who may be considering booking Wynnwood House Osma.
The listing says that this property has laundry services/facility, which is one of the reasons why I booked here because after hiking for two weeks in the mountains, I needed fresh, clean clothes. When I chatted with staff on Whatsup about this, they said there's no laundry service nor did they feel comfortable recommending a place. Their words. Okay...not helpful.
Then the unit itself had sticky floors because of the humidity. There's no air conditioning or even a fan, so the only way we could cool down was to leave the windows open. However, with windows open all night, we heard several residents talking, partying, playing music at all hours of the day, including at 4am. Apparently, there's no rules on quiet hours. There were also small bugs crawling on the kitchen counters and bathroom walls.
When we were checking out, we had a late flight, so I asked the staff if they could hold our bags until we departed for the airport. They responded that due to security reasons they couldn't do this even though there's a 24-hour front desk person. Again, not helpful at all. I'll never book here again.
A nice and comfortable apartment in an excellent location. It was super handy also to have a coin operated laundromat in the complex.
Clean, comfortable, spacious room, modern bathroom. Front desk/staff were very nice. Great location near the plaza in Barranco.
Only thing I would suggest is making it somehow clearer from the outside where the entrance is. You can't see the front desk from the street.
I like the apartment and all its rooms. I had a desk to do my work, read, and write. The kitchen had all the items to cook a nice meal. The location is excellent!
