Amazing stay

Everything about our stay was fabulous. The staff, food, facilities and beautiful room. However, the walk to the hotel from the seafront was very steep so it is not suitable for those with mobility problems.

We booked an Agios Stefanos delux suite with pool and sea view. However the suite is in fact a room not a suite and the view of the sea is only the horizon so a bit misleading on description. If you want a sea view better booking the jacuzzi rooms as they are in the top floor. Having said that the hotel is beautiful rooms are tastefully decorated and luxurious. The staff were amazing, so friendly and accommodating and Nick our waiter was a diamond member of staff and made us feel like the only guest in the hotel. Nick will make an amazing hotel manager. Just a note to say the hotel is very quiet in the evening and was like a ghost town. Music vibe was very repetitive and catered for the under 25s. Would suggest maybe mixing the music up in the day time to cater for various tastes. Very steep hill to the beach and took about 10-15 mins walk however the hotel were very accommodating with the shuttle service and even dropped us off and picked us up out of the specified time. virtually no guest stay in in the evening so if you want to drink at the bar you’ll probably be the only ones. A lovely gesture hotel arranged a free lunch, drinks for our 25th anniversary. Great sea boat taxi in the centre, takes about 10 mins and drops you off right in centre and agin hotel provides a shuttle bus to the port. Taxi’s pricing depends on the driver and can be between €30-40 each way, Can be expensive for a night out.

Had a lovely stay for our honeymoon. All of the staff were so lovely and accommodating, especially Alvaro at reception. The hotel was kept really clean and felt warm and welcoming.

We visited the Amyth during our honeymoon in Mykonos and absolutely loved it! We booked the Amyth room and really enjoyed the spacious room and the private pool. The staff is extremely friendly, very helpful and goes out of their way to make your stay memorable. We felt like home from day 1! We also spent plenty of time at the pool (always found a spot easily) and ate breakfast and lunch which were delicious. There is a small outdoor gym which we used when we were in a sporty mood, but overall we just enjoyed the peace and quiet. At the pool there was always a good playlist. It’s also located very centrally (10mins to old town, 15mins to Scorpios or Alemagou). Whenever we went out, the ordered us a taxi or organized a driver and always handed us a water bottle to stay hydrated. For our honeymoon, we also received a bottle of Cava and on our last night were surprised with our favorite drinks. We can absolutely recommend this place for a honeymoon and also a couples trip. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! There is a rooster next to the hotel in another property and it goes off from about 5:30am until 7:30am consistently, after that it goes off every 15-30mins or so throughout the day. You will not be able to sleep or properly relax, unless of course you find rooster crowing relaxing. When this was raised with the hotel they claimed that they could not hear the rooster, which is just laughable, and they refused to refund the booking for unspent nights. The only option they gave was to stay at the hotel, move to a 4-star sister hotel, or loose all the money paid for the booking. The hotel is in a very built up residential area, hard to get to, and not that appealing. The rooms are nice, though be advised that the toilets and showers are see-through doors, so you should be comfortable if you’re sharing a room with someone else. Final point, the shower/pipes were blocked in the room and water would not drain properly and build up all over the shower floor, which is also where the toilet is.

Quietly sitting on top of a hill near the new port, it’s a spot to chill and relax at private pool and bar. Super friendly staff. Nice handmade breakfast. Walkable to new port. Gym and spa were under construction and we couldn’t enjoy it. Overall, nice quiet spot away from parties in old port, which is accessible by Sea Bus from new port.

Very personalized, helpful and excellent service/staff. Property is beautiful, clean and very tastefully decorated. Very happy with our experience at Amyth. The guest room could use more hooks on the walls for towels and robes, etc. Also, room could use more places to put your things - it's a little minimalistic, but then I am kind of an overpacker and we had 2 weeks worth of things with us...

Beautiful hotel, modern, with genuine friendly staff. All the team are happy to guide you and share their knowledge. Lovely welcome, even received welcome gifts in the room. Great location, short walk to lovely beach, authentic local taverna, and shop. Some days you could see up to six cruise ships in the harbour fascinating to watch, you can check to see when they are in so you can avoid and go into town on the quieter days. There is an hourly bus to town from the beach and you can walk to the new port for the half hourly sea bus, no need for taxis unless you want to get somewhere quickly. The hotel is perched on the hillside so it is a steep road up, so not suitable for those with mobility issues unless you have transport. Location provides gorgeous views of the sea and the sunset. There is a fabulous a la carte breakfast, dinner menu and bar list.
Rooms had everything you need, amenities always replenished, fluffy towels and big comfy bed. Small thing not enough room to hang your clothes but apart from that we highly recommend a stay at Amyth.

We loved our short stay at Amyth. The property is beautiful and our room was perfect, with such a great view. However the best part would have to be the staff, they went above and beyond for you. Definitely recommend! Next time we would get a car as taxis can be expensive getting around.

Brilliant staff and amazing property

Very quiet, good views, excellent staff and service. One challenge is walking uphill when you are heading back to the hotel.

The property is kept beautiful and the staff have all been amazingly accommodating! We even decided to change our plans and stay an extra night!

Eccellente la colazione alla carta, personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Soprattutto Sofia della reception, ci ha dato ottimi consigli e coccolato dall’inizio alla fine.
Ottima pulizia, addirittura ci rifacevano la camera sia la mattina che la sera. Prodotti da bagno Acqua di Parma. Abbiamo preso la suite con Jacuzzi. Davvero incantevole. Se dovessimo tornare a Mykonos sicuramente torneremo in questa struttura.

Beautiful luxurious, and secluded property, mosquitoes were a huge issue though (need plenty bug spray) other than that a lovely quiet experience!

Very good property with an excellent staff. The staff went over and beyond in our stay from getting breakfast on time, to planning our excursions, to answering all our questions. The only downside to this place is that it is not walkable from anywhere. The road to get to the nearest transport option has no sidewalks and absolutely impossible to walk on at night. So you either need a car or need to go by taxicab everywhere.
