I stayed at Manuel Manor for 3 nights and even the weather was not very nice I had a good time there. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and they took very good care of me. The cook was absolutely fantastic, best food I had in sri lanka.

Great location and a lovely property. We were given the choice of rooms and chose the main house. Stylish furnishing and very comfortable. Beautiful gardens. Private chef made great breakfast and dinner. We were made so very welcome and the team are very friendly, helpful and professional.

Where to begin? The garden is absolutely beautiful—an ideal place to relax and unwind. The staff were wonderfully attentive and genuinely friendly, making us feel completely at home. Even though we stayed only one night, we left feeling deeply refreshed. The food was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

The house and the views on tea plantation are wonderful, the furniture and the decor are incredibly authentic!
Everything is very clean and the place is comfortable.
We appreciated the chance to chill and relax in the living room with a cup of tea kindly offered by the staff.
The whole staff (from the manager to the chef) are extremely friendly and kind, they spolied us with free tea, coffee and delicious meals.
I would definitely recommend staying there if you are going to visit nuwara Eliya area.

Manuel Manor was without a doubt one of the friendliest places we’ve ever stayed at. The entire atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and all staff members were extremely courteous, attentive, and helpful.

A very special thanks goes to Maduvan, who went above and beyond to take care of us. I arrived with a fever, and he not only prepared a soothing tea but also arranged an inhalation and a massage to help me recover – truly exceptional care.

The dinner and breakfast were also excellent, delicious, and lovingly prepared. You can really feel the heart behind everything they do.

We can wholeheartedly recommend Manuel Manor and would love to come back anytime!

Manuel Manor is
An extremely spacious 4 double bedroom expansive house with an Additional double room alongside.
It is impeccably well looked after and ran by Mr Anton and his team who quite honestly are there to respond to your every requirement. This was explained when Mr Anton explained that he had over 30’years experience at The legendary Hill Club in Nuwara Eliya. Add to that it is in a spectacular spot with amazing views down the valley towards the Mahawelle Ganga.

Schönes Anwesen in wunderschöner Lage, mitten in den Teefeldern. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen war fantastisch.

The house was beautiful located right within the hills with a stunning view. The room was spotless and beautifully presented. The shower and bathroom facilities were also great. It looks just like the photos. We had a three course dinner at the property with a beer each costing 9,900 rupees total it was amazing (see photos). All in all I would recommend this to anyone and would defiantly go back!

Beautiful layout

We really enjoyed our stay here, it felt like staying in a cozy home. After moving from hotel to hotel, it felt so nice to come into a warm and comfortable home with a cozy bed. And I liked that dinner and breakfast takes place at a big family table with other guests, once again it felt cozy. But above all, I have to give credit to the incredible service we received. I arrived with a very bad cold, slight fever, etc. Soon after we arrived and he saw I was sick, Madhavan came to our room with a steaming bowl with ginger and lime leaves and some ayurvedic medicine to help with my congestion. He repeated the same action twice more during our stay, and was so so kind, bringing me tea constantly, asking how I was, etc. All the employees at the hotel were above and beyond with their service and attention, and Madhavan's kindness with me will be remembered long after our trip. Oh - and they have a gorgeous swing in the garden where you can lounge about and read on. If you're tired of staying in impersonal hostals and are looking for a cozy stay in a big comfortable house, look no further :)
