They gave a warm welcome to celebrate our stay and front desk staff was very kind.
Inconsistent service - we had one night of turn down service. We booked an extra night after confirming we could stay in the same room and then in the morning after we had already left for the day, they tried to make us switch rooms. After we said we’d be unable to return to the hotel they found an alternate solution, but did not apologize for the inconvenience. They ignored our email asking for recommendations and sent so many emails pushing us to upgrade our room. There was also no common space to relax outside of the room.

I would give this hotel overall 4.5 if I could. I've never stayed in the West Loop before but it was a nice change of pace from Michigan Ave. The rooms are very relaxing and I loved the high ceilings and modern designs. The true standout to me was the pool. Serene, relaxing, warm, the best hotel pool I've ever used. Boutique hotel feel. The main knock to me was service in the lobby was not always as consistent and friendly as compared to other 5 star hotels I've stayed at. Rooftop happy hour was nice, got to sample much of classic Nobu foods. I love the food options of the neighborhood as well. Would definitely come back.
Everything
Nobu hotel is conveniently located in West Loop where many restaurants and shops are situated. The facility is good and clean, I like they tuck your bed at night. I don’t like the elevator is shared with the customers who go to the roof top bar. It can get crowded and awkward.
Nice amenities and modern room
This hotel never fails to impress. We came for my husband’s 40th birthday and they did a little champagne surprise and card for him. The room is stunning, and the bathroom is a complete dream overlooking Randolph. Best of all, greeted with a warm towel, tea and the best doorman to help you bring your bags to your room, Derrick! Five stars every time, this hotel will keep me coming back.
I visited the restaurant at Nobu Chicago with some colleagues while in town for business, and ordered an Uber to our next destination. The Uber app repeatedly shifted our pick up location to a general festival pick up location, multiple blocks away, despite no festival happening (one was set to begin in approximately 1 month per the hotel staff). While we tried to get the location fixed in the app and drivers cancelled our pick ups, Derrick, the amazing bellman, took charge and called the driver on our behalf to advise him of the situation and to get him to pick us up at the hotel as the driver could only follow the instructions on the app and did not actually see where we had requested pick up. While the Uber experience itself was a disappointment due to being overcharged, Derrick made a tremendous difference in ensuring we felt cared for by taking charge of the situation and getting three out of towners where they needed to go.

Derrick the bellman was super kind & helpful with my kids & I during a rainy Father’s Day in Chicago. Him & the valet guys on duty took very good care of us. I’d also like to commend our server as she was very helpful & understanding with me & my 5 children 👍🏾
