The kindness of the people working there was wonderful. They gave us really good advice on which places to visit and the best addresses to eat. Additionally, they cleaned the room neatly each day, and you could even smell cleanness every time you came back.

Zimmer:
Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, großzügig geschnitten und bieten viel Platz – auch für längere Aufenthalte absolut komfortabel. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die wunderschöne, moderne Dusche, die zum Entspannen nach einem Tag am Strand einlädt.
Lage:
Das Hotel liegt zentral in der Stadt – ideal, um Mykonos zu Fuß zu erkunden, Restaurants, Bars und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind schnell erreichbar. Aufgrund der lebendigen Lage kann es nachts gelegentlich etwas lauter werden. Das liegt jedoch in der Natur der Sache und ist kein Mangel des Hotels – wer Ohrstöpsel dabei hat, schläft trotzdem ruhig.
Service:
Der Service war durchweg zuvorkommend und freundlich. Besonderes Lob gilt Nik an der Rezeption: Er hat sich viel Zeit genommen, mir alles erklärt und mit tollen, persönlichen Restaurant-Empfehlungen meinen Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht. So ein engagierter Mitarbeiter macht den Unterschied!
Fazit:
Wer eine saubere, geräumige Unterkunft mit herzlichem Service in bester Lage sucht, ist im Hotel Galation genau richtig. Kleine Abstriche bei der Nachtruhe nimmt man dafür gerne in Kauf – schließlich ist man im Urlaub ja auch unterwegs, um das Leben auf Mykonos zu genießen.

The hotel is centrally located in Mykonos, right in front of the bus stop, which was extremely convenient since buses are the best way to explore nearby places in Greece. Supermarkets and restaurants were also within walking distance. The room was clean, spacious, and worth the price. Trisha, the host, was very kind and helpful — she guided us on the best places to visit and eat in Mykonos. Overall, we had a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Wir waren eine Woche lang im Hotel Galation und rundum zufrieden! Der Zimmerservice war hervorragend – die Zimmer wurden täglich sauber gemacht, das Bett liebevoll gerichtet und frische Handtücher lagen immer bereit. Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist uns die Zuverlässigkeit des Teams: Sowohl die Reinigungskräfte als auch das Personal an der Rezeption waren jederzeit freundlich, hilfsbereit und professionell. Wir haben uns rundum gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls perfekt, um die Umgebung zu erkunden, und die Atmosphäre im Hotel ist angenehm ruhig und entspannt. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Hotel Galation nur wärmstens empfehlen!

The hotel is ideally located. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel.There are restaurants below and all around it. It is less than 5 minutes walk to some of the iconic spots at Mykonos for example the wind mills are less than 5 minutes away. I was travelling solo but I felt completely safe and happy with the room, it was very clean, and had a view of the sea.

There front desk is not open all day, so you do need to let them know when you arrive. But they are very good with texting you and keeping in touch with you if you need anything.
Overall I would say ver nice location, very clean and safe and lovely staff.

This was a lovely stay, a really nice convenient location right in the middle of Mykonos town, right next to the main bus stop as well so very easy access to public transport. Trisia was so lovely, very good communication skills and easy to reach at all times if I needed any help.

The location was great. Loved how you could get a bus / taxi right outside and easily walk into town. The staff were exceptional with everything from organising our bags to be carried up stairs to recommendations
