Not my usual cup of tea but location to airport was good. The room was spacious, the team were helpful.
I felt a little unsafe largely due to Faro being an unsavoury place and a large number of “odd men lurking about the area and Faro as a whole

Location and large, comfortable bed and bathroom (apart from the bad bath drainage in the first room we had - we had to move to another room)
WiFi was non existent (again!! This is the 2nd time we experienced this while at Aqua Ria) and therefore substandard for any hotel in this day and age.
There are no comfortable chairs in the rooms (only 1 dining style chair) and we found the room rather minimalist in furnishing.
Sadly we only got to stay one night at the hotel, as this was a stop-over after travelling in from Lisbon and flying out of Faro airport the next day. I say sadly, as the room and the location in Faro were absolutely perfect and if/when I come back to Faro this will be top of my list to stay at. The bed was so comfy (and huge), the room quiet, a lovely balcony and amazing shower. Particular mention goes to the very friendly staff. Should you be travelling in by train, as we were, note that Faro train and bus station is a short, easy, flat walk, even with luggage. Very highly recommended.

Prima locatie, lekker centraal
Op zich was het goed. Wat ik niet helemaal snapte is dat we een kamer kregen, grenzend aan de buitenruimte waar alle airco's units hingen. Zelf zou ik gasten elders geplaatst hebben als je toch ruimte voldoende hebt, omdat het laagseizoen was en het hotel lang niet vol zat. Beetje gedateerd, maar prima gezien de prijs, dus mag je ook niet teveel van zeggen. :)
The hospitality. Everyone was so accommodating and attentive as soon as I walked in the door. The night clerk made sure I was taken of , considering an ordeal with my car rental at midnight.
My room was delightful and clean. The day clerk was just as nice as the night clerk. I ate at the restaurant and the food was excellent and the staff was kind and professional.
The room was beautiful, large, clean with a lovely big bathroom that had a great shower. The mini fridge was useful. Air conditioning great. Our room door broke but was re programmed promptly. Our room was serviced even though we only booked for 2 nights, we really didn't expect that. A great location for the old town. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Breakfast wasnt a good experience and we felt we had imposed, the bread was still frozen and no offer of a drinks refill. I dont think the staff get many guests for breakfast. We felt a bit awkward.
We would have enjoyed a drink in the evening but were not comfortable to go back to the restaurant because of our breakfast experience.
