Comfortable and quiet
Pros:

Clean, comfortable and quiet room. Lovely large bathroom and excellent shower. When we arrived we were able to help ourselves to tea, coffee and cake in the conference centre. Safe storage for bikes in a courtyard

Cons:

The room was rather hot with no aircon. The windows opened fully however there are no insect screens so biting insects came in overnight

Ich war mit meinem Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel rundum zufrieden. Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet, hervorragend ausgestattet und alles war sauber, ordentlich und funktionierte einwandfrei.
Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Personal – alle waren ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und professionell. Gerade der herzliche und zuvorkommende Umgang mit den Gästen hat bei mir den besten Eindruck hinterlassen und ist für mich einer der wichtigsten Gründe, warum ich gerne wiederkommen würde.
Ein großes Lob für die Organisation, die Sauberkeit, die Ausstattung und vor allem für das tolle Personal. Ich habe mich von Anfang bis Ende sehr wohlgefühlt.
Ein Hotel, das ich absolut weiterempfehlen kann.

A very pleasant stay with spacious rooms and a fantastic view over Linz.
Pros:

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Sankt Magdalena and would definitely recommend it, especially if you are travelling through Linz.

The hotel is located on a hill, so you do have to drive up a somewhat steep road to get there, but the view is absolutely worth it. You get a fantastic panorama of Linz and can see the city in all its splendour. The surroundings are also quiet and peaceful.

The hotel is quite large, and our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The bathroom was also spacious and well equipped.

We specifically requested a late check-in after 8:00 PM, and we really appreciated how easy the self-check-in process was. The access cards can be issued on the spot, which makes arriving late very convenient.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The beautiful view, spacious rooms, quiet location and convenient self-check-in made it a very good experience. We would definitely recommend Hotel Sankt Magdalena and will probably stay here again when travelling through Linz.

Cons:

We were a little unlucky with our ground-floor room, as it was not sufficiently ventilated when we arrived. The mattresses could also be improved — we would have preferred them to be firmer for a more restful night’s sleep.
