The history. Cleanliness. Staff was really nice. Late check out was great. The outside of the building at night was beautiful

Frustrating check-in, but great service from the front desk helped fix it.
Pros:

The front desk staff handled the situation very well. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and understanding, even though I was frustrated and angry. She fixed the issue quickly by giving us two separate king rooms.

Cons:

I booked and paid for a room with two queen beds ahead of time through Booking.com, but when we arrived, they said the reservation didn’t come through, and the room was already occupied. This was very frustrating since we traveled 3 hours and had just come from a concert. I don’t understand why a paid reservation through Booking.com is not secured.

I really enjoyed my one night stay.
Pros:

I love how safe it made me feel as I was spending the night by myself after attending a concert at the United Center. Although I didn't need it looked like there was pretty great on-site parking just behind the hotel. And the free breakfast was really decent, enough to get you through till you find somewhere to eat at in the city. But I enjoyed my entire one night stay! I hope to come back again for a longer stay.

Cons:

There was nothing about my stay that I disliked. It was all good!

Great location, comfortable beds, lots of equipment to choose from at the gym.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent! Really appreciated the berries and yogurt and selection of teas.

Cons:

Would have liked a low sugar option of oatmeal. Only had apple cinnamon.

Convenient location in a historic building
Pros:

Proximity to the United Center, historic building, large and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff

Cons:

The room smelled of urine, wish there were fresher options at breakfast, not enough parking in lot and was sold out when we checked in at 4p
